" Come back to the palace! I would like you to resume your work by coming back to the imperial palace, working as my grandson's nanny once again!" The empress dowager spoke out in an affirmative tone.
" What? You want me to come back to the palace and resume my work!" I reacted shockingly.
" That's exactly what I said!" The empress dowager confirmed.
What the heck? Does she wish for me to come back to the palace? All of the scenarios I was thinking of in my head, this was the least expected one. Why does she intend for me to come back to the palace all of a sudden? Doesn't she hate me? What's going on in the empress dowager's mind? What is she thinking about?
