Alexander flew up and raised his staff while calling out „[Judgement]". Today was the first day he met a human in this forest after a few weeks of just walking and in the later weeks flying through the forest and killing ever single animal he got his eyes on. He also met two treants which sadly were NPCs though which he then just roasted alive with a few fireballs.
After the thunderclouds finished gathering above the clearing he pointed at the druid and the two hunters close to the druid while finishing of the chant with „[Annihilate]". He didn't really need to speak while casting, but after so long in the game with nobody to show of to he wanted to be slightly dramatic.
After Alexander finished his chant the lightning bolts in the clouds gathered and shot down at the druid who unsuccessfully tried to erect an earthern dome to block the onslaught of lightning. His failure to block the strike resulted in him and the two hunters being roasted alive and directly dying.
´The upgraded version of [Lightning Bolt] [Judgement] is seriously strong against single targets that fail to set up strong defence.´
While wandering through the forest Alexander reached level 23 and by killing all the hunters expect Juuh and by using a new skill [Draining Touch] which increased his XP gained he managed to reach level 25 during the fight. Alexander was actually kind of proud of his current progress. Sure he read in the forums about a few lucky humanoid and semi-humanoid players that got literally power-leveled by nobility and royalty, but they are still only at level 35 and there were only a few ones. Even though he wasn't one of the players with the highest level he was pretty sure that he could beat the „strongest" players out there since he was a monstrosity.
Another thing he read about on the forum was that the monstrosities type wasn't even supposed to be in the game, but 1000 players got the option to choose it when they were creating their characters. The producers of ´Reimagined´ asked in a post that any player with one of the bugged accounts please call them and send back the VR-cabinet so they could replace it, since they supposedly had a virus or something. Of course there were a few who answered their request, but Alexander didn't play to hand over his cabinet since he actually enjoyed being an undead in-game. Plus he was way stronger than all other players at the same level, so why should he give this up? He actually wanted to find civilization so he could experience what it is supposed to feel like being a superior undead. Even though he hadn't advanced to being a Lich yet he still quiet enjoyed the feeling of suppressing this tribe, so he was looking forward to the time he could do the same to a city or even a whole country.
But back to the present. He still hadn't found a way out of the forest, but since he could already fly he had become able to see the mountains to the west, or at least the direction the sun sets. But he couldnt cross them without knowing the way since he couldn't fly that high yet. So he was thinking of forcing one of the hunters to guide him.
Walking up to the only remaining hunter he reached down to grab the dazed hunter who snapped out of it and screamed incomprehensible words while trying to scramble away. Alexander held him down while looking through his skill options in hope of finding a skill that could help him understand what the hunter was saying.
After a bit of searching he found something that should work and used his remaining universal point to learn [Language Of The Soul] which allowed him to comprehend the meaning of everything he heard and also project his meaning through his words.
„Will you shut up or do I have to make you?" said Alexander to the hunter that had been screaming all this time. The hunter shut up instantly. „Good. Now, what's your name?" asked Alexander the hunter.
„Ju-Juuh. My name is Juuh." stuttered Juuh. You have to understand that even though Alexander was able to speak and make Juuh understand what he is saying he still was a skeleton so he had a rather deep and raspy voice that made him sound like death was breathing down your neck. Literally.
„Do you know how to cross the mountains? If yes then I still have use for you, if not..." „YES. Yes, I know a way! Please spare me! I have a wife and .." answered Juuh before he got interrupted by Alexander „Do I look like I care? Take anything you need and prepare to leave."
Alexander let him go as he got up to search the bodies for loot. He was kind of looking forward to what the druid would „gift" him.
