"Welcome to alive. How can I help you?"
Nui Sanz walked slowly towards the checkout. Around her were some shelves with different supplements and self-care products. Farther away there were some clothing and novelties. At the back were some stairs heading to the second floor. There were offices up there.
Nui Sanz hadn't been in an alive store since a long, long time, but it didn't seem to have changed a bit.
When Nui Sanz was a few steps away from the checkout, D.Ceive came down the stairs and, as soon as he saw Nui Sanz, he ran towards the checkout with a smile on his face.
"I'll take her of her," he said to the cashier, who nodded and stepped away.
D.Ceive got behind the checkout and looked at Nui Sanz.
She was glaring at him.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Sanz," D.Ceive said; "what happened between you and this company belongs to the past. Also, thanks to that experience we had learned from our mistakes to bring you and all our customers the products and services you really deserve."
Nui Sanz was still glaring at D.Ceive.
But she ended up sighing.
"Whatever, look: those fuckers from the hospital almost took all my money, and I feel worse every single day, so give me anything that could help me out."
"Of course. Let me recommend you some of our best supplements," D.Ceive walked though the hallways, checked the supplements there, and took the most expensive ones. Some of them were the same Nui Sanz used to take, but they had a different presentation and, because of that, she didn't recognized them.
"Hey, they're hella expensive."
"Well, considering medicine's prices, I say these are even cheap. Besides, due to the state of your illness, you need our best supplements to experience that much-needed wellness."
Nui Sanz glared at him once again.
But she ended up sighing.
"Whatever. As long as I stop feeling this shitty," Nui Sanz gave the supplements and her credit card to D.Ceive.
D.Ceive did his best to smile in the least cynical and mocking way possible.
But, before he started scanning the products, he gave Nui Sanz a document.
"What's this?" she asked.
"Well," D.Ceive replied, "before we can sell you anything, you need to sign this document. Basically it says that, because our products are neither medication nor part of any treatment, we recommend you to consult your doctor before ingesting any of them and, therefore, we are not responsible for any side effects they may have.
"So, this can kill me?" Nui Sanz asked both confused and mad.
"Not by themselves," D.Ceive replied calmly, "but we don't know what would happen if someone ingest them with medicine because we're not a hospital. But if you need one, I recommend you St. Ann; they have the country's best oncology department.
