Chapter 3 - III

"And why do you want to come to college with us?" John asked Swindle while having breakfast. "Who do you want to swindle anyway?"

"Swindle?" Asked Swindle falsely intrigued. "I just want to see what you do there. Maybe I'll get a little more cultured."

"Like we're going to believe you," said John.

"Help your brother out," said Gully. "He has done so much for me and every single one of us."

"Like what? Abandon us?" Asked John.

"He has deals to do. He's an independent man, unlike others," said Gully looking at them severely. "And he told me he's willing to contribute to the household expenses, because even the three of you can't handle them by your own."

"But if you don't want my money, I'll understand," said Swindle.

"No, we don't want it," said John.

"But we need it," said Paul.

"So, I'll go with you," said Swindle.

"Ok," said Paul. "But don't do anything and don't talk with anyone. Or what do you think, George?"

George was Reading the newspaper while drinking a cup of coffee.

"Do as you please," he said without looking away from his newspaper. "As long as you don't get us fired."
