Chapter 60 - Reality

Lisa replied, "You want me to lie to my friend for a psycho like you?"

David just smirked and looked up. Lisa followed his eyes and was shocked.

Lisa asked, "Wha-...What is that?" David said in a calm but scary voice, "I saw that pretty lady in the park today.

She was so dramatic that I killed her. Don't forget I still have the urge to kill."

Lisa gulped, looking at David who was looking at her as a predator. Lisa lost all her courage looking at a young girl hanging upside down from the ceiling.

Even though Lisa was a cruel killer too, she always feared David.

Her face was destroyed brutally. Her whole body was a bleeding mess. Lisa nodded and said, "Whatever. I am leaving."

Lisa tried to look cool but it was clear she was scared to death.

David asked cutely to tease Lisa, "Pinky promise?" Lisa nodded and said, "p-pinky promise." In a shaky voice.

David watched Lisa walking away and then looked at the dead girl and smiled.

He said, "It was nice killing you today." and smiled creepily.

Lisa reached her apartment. She looked around to see Dazzle fast asleep and no sign of Noah and KL.

Lisa tried to sleep but all she saw was the dead girl and her face.

Lisa tossed around and finally got up, giving up on sleeping when she suddenly saw the dead girl's body hanging upside down in front of her.

Lisa looked sharply at it and immediately woke up from her slight nap.

Lisa said irritated, "I can't believe my dream was about me, who was not sleeping and that dead girl."

Lisa's eye suddenly lit up bright.

Lisa mumbled, "Wait, that shiny thing in that girl's hair...WAS THE KEY."

Lisa screamed the last few words waking up Dazzle. Lisa apologised to Dazzle and said it was a weird dream.

Dazzle nodded sleepily and walked away to sleep again.

Lisa had a rough and exhausting night but finally, it was morning.

Lisa was so nervous because David said he will reveal himself today to Dazzle.

Lisa mumbled, "Please god. Tell that boy to be less creepy and not harm Dazzle."

Dazzle tapped on Lisa's back and said, "I am ready. Let's go." Dazzle and Lisa were hanging out today.

Dazzle could see Lisa's nervousness. Dazzle asked, "Are we going to write an exam or something, Why are you so nervous?"

Lisa said, "Oh nothing." Dazzle just rolled her eyes and said, "Yea...clearly nothing."

Lisa looked at Dazzle and shrugged. Dazzle and Lisa were sitting on a bench near a cafe.

Once they sat there, the whole crowd who was there vanished.

Dazzle was happy to see people being scared of them but seeing kids move away from them broke her heart.

Lisa said, "I will go grab us something to eat. You wait here."

Dazzle nodded. Dazzle was looking around to enjoy nature while Lisa was waiting in the cafe filled with fear and nervousness.

Dazzle was looking around but her eyes stopped scanning when she saw a thin sly person with a large hoodie staring at her.

Dazzle said to herself, "Dazzle calm down. You are hallucinating again."

Dazzle got up from the bench and walked away but she immediately stopped and was unable to continue when she heard her name being called by a familiar voice.

Dazzle stood there hoping the voice will fade away. She turned around hesitantly to see David standing in front of her.

Dazzle couldn't differentiate it between imagination and reality but she was so lost in the dark but calm eyes of David.

Dazzle said, "Is this my imagination or..." David replied, "No...this is your dream. This is your David, The one who happily got stuck."
