Her husband's mother was still alive. Or at least, what looked like her husband's mother was. But the resemblance was so striking that she had to take a couple of seconds to rewind the memory in her head. Once she had sat in silence within the library for a couple of minutes she finally concluded finding things out first hand before she said anything to her husband. The resemblance between them might after all be considered a mere coincidence but something within her gut was saying otherwise.
Now that she knew what she was looking for, she could see the woman's face everywhere in the mansion, from pictures, the minor plaque awards that she once thought were only pure decoration, but now she saw a name at the bottom of each one.
