Nesryn didn't know what happened, but when she opened her eyes, she was inside a white room all alone, her heart monitor beeping beside her, an oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. She tried remembering what happened but all she received was a raging headache. Her face turned into a wince as she slowly lifted her arm, to call for a nurse.
She waited for a couple minutes before a knock came from the door and it opened, "Hello Ms. Lorcan, how are you feeling?" the nurse asked, holding her clipboard. Nesryn tried to speak but she let out a wince, before shaking her head at her nurse. The woman nodded her head in understanding, "The woman who came in with you is in the ICU with a head trauma, you were involved in a car accident, luckily the woman was covering you with her body, saving you from the most of the impact,"
