Meanwhile, in Newton Grand Tower condominium, Lovely was using Sanno's laptop and through the auto transcribing program, she printed out Dr. Logan's whole speech in his presentation. Inside Sanya's bag was an audio recorder with a special GPS chip. Dr. Jaia's laboratory was so suspicious because it wasn't found in online satellite maps, as well as in the map of the whole Sovereign States of Krizeldt. Instead, it was categorized as one of the military training grounds; thus, it's not open to the public. The GPS chip installed with the audio recorder was supposed to show the exact location of the laboratory; too bad, she didn't go there and so, Sanno and his allies would have to wait for Sanya's next trip there.
As Lovely listened to Dr. Logan's speech, she realized that there was a detail that she was familiar with. She looked through her phone's images and had it confirmed.
Dr. Rion Wonderain, the Head Scientist's friend in Madagavia whom he mentioned in his presentation, was also there with her father when they hiked in Mt. Maqui!
She jotted down the following and drew something like a relationship map: Dr. Rion Wonderain, Zyron shrub, Zyron leaf extracts, Mt. Emprese in Madagavia in Africa, wound-healing... her father, Carlid Wenn, the tree bearing bright yellow fruit, Mt. Maqui... there has to be some connection, but what is it?
Whatever that is, she's sure that she'll know it once botanist Sean Swift and taxonomist John Guile have already finished their laboratory tests.
Night fell, and the bright moon rose up in the skies of Eulim City. As dark as the night was Dr. Logan's expression as he walked to the security office on the 15th floor. The cybersecurity team panicked when they saw the Head Scientist marching directly to Paul Azirean's room.
"Sir, I wish I knew you were coming and had my men fetch you from the airport," Paul said, as sweat formed on his forehead out of nervousness.
Dr. Logan had already talked to Paul the other night, but it was a different level of disappointment when he reached the facility. "I believe I had told your team to set up a better cybersecurity wall for our system," Dr. Logan directly said. "What happened?"
"Sir, we did, but there was no alarm or any indication that someone was hacking us," Paul explained, and it was true. They should have detected if someone was attempting to hack the system.
"Then, how can you explain what happened?" Dr. Logan asked again. To his dismay, he told him, "Investigate everyone from your team. If you don't catch the culprit as soon as possible, I'd have no choice but to replace everyone in the security team... including you."
"Sir," Paul lowered his head. "We will surely catch the culprit!" he didn't want to make his teammates suffer. After all, he was with most of them ever since the start of his career as the Head of the Security team. He trusts all of them, and he believed that none of them was the culprit.
"Also, I want you to investigate the caretaker and the Assistant Scientist assigned to this chameleon mutant," Dr. Logan added.
"They're cleared, sir. I have questioned them both, and lurked around their addresses and-"
"You think it's enough? Of course, you have to follow them everywhere, 24/7, without them knowing. And you have to infiltrate their houses to find evidence!"
"Ah, sir... Yes." Paul uttered. It was understandable that the Head Scientist had requested for a more thorough investigation because they failed him. "I'll send my men."

Meanwhile, Sanya waited for Sanno in the waiting shed of Newton Grand Tower. Upon receiving a call from her that she had returned, they agreed to meet that night.
Sanno knew that Dr. Logan's a harder enemy to face than Paul. He was sure that even though Paul believed that he's innocent, the head scientist might investigate him further. He believed that he had already shaken the security team, and somehow lost the employees' and Dr. Logan's trust.
He was wearing his usual long sleeved shirt. He walked towards the shed.
"Sanno!" Sanya called out to him. She was holding her fur coat in her left hand, while on the other hand was her luggage handle. She let go of the luggage and placed the fur coat atop it.
"Sanya-"
He was startled when she planted a kiss on his cheek, and then hugged him very tightly. "Sannooo... I missed you so much, even if it was just for a day," Sanya whispered to him. She was still wearing her formal dress because she felt that she had no time to change clothes. She had luckily booked the same flight as Dr. Logan, so she had to move fast. She let go of Sanno and wore her fur coat. She asked him, "How do I look?", while smiling sweetly.
"You look wonderful," Sanno told her. And he wasn't lying this time.
Sanya looked so beautiful under the moonlight. Her pair of diamond dangling earrings swayed with the cold wind. Her gray eyes looked like the moon, and she looked twice as pretty in her contact lenses. Her wine red-colored lipstick was still intact because it was smudge-proof. Her previously neatly tied blue hair buns had already become slightly disheveled, because of brisk walking and panic of wanting to go back home immediately. Her Pleocatra fur coat hid the fitted, long red gown that showed her beautiful, defined collarbone.
"Sanno, can I stay at your place for a while?" Sanya asked. She was hoping to meet his mother. She was confident that her batchmate Trisha Macadamia, who badmouthed Sanno and told her that he's a jerk, was just lying because she's jealous of her achievements.
Sanno realized that he sometimes mentioned his father to Sanya, while in the fake birth certificate, his father had already died. He needed to cover up his lies with some other lies. "Why?" he asked and wished that Sanya would change her mind.
"I just want to meet your parents," she answered.
