"What the hell are they doing here?!" Flare questioned. He pointed his two scorpion tails to the front to try to scare them.
"I don't know…" Alden said, facing his armored back on the armed men, hoping to protect his companions. "They're too many…"
"They might have shot Niki a while ago…" Aesop uttered, furrowing his eyebrows, "How unlucky. If we were normal humans, we could jump into the waters behind us, but… our mutations are too heavy for our body to swiftly escape."
Seeing that the three mutants were murmuring, Dr. Jaia said confidently, "I will now take custody of all the mutants on that island." She faced the security team, "Now go to the island! Seize them!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
They quickly rode back to the e-trucks, and surprisingly, when they accelerated and reached the sea, the bottom of the trucks transformed into a boat's bottom, allowing it to float!
"Shit. We're done for." Flare commented. "What's the plan?"
