"Hey, Hirakooooo!!"
"Akiru... Stop complaining, we are going home soon."
"Ughhh..."
"You complain about us not getting missions, but you also complain about us getting missions. Make up your mind you idiot."
"Hey Nokumiii, Hirako-chan is being mean to me again..."
"You deserve it, stop complaining."
"Asukaaaa chan... are you going to scold me as well?"
Asuka got caught off guard with that question. She had dropped her guard seeing how nice those three are, and how they are indeed protecting her.
Asuka let out a little smirk followed by a burst out that left everyone in the room speechless. It completely changed the mood of the room.
Hirako had tried before to get her to talk to them, but she would not do so. Even Akiru with his silly and unserious personality was not able to get her to crack a smile.
The only person that Asuka was interacting with was Nokumi. I guess girls can understand other girls and they are easier to talk to.
Nokumi is a nice and kind person. She had a very tough childhood and was in an awfully bad situation until she got adopted by Watanabe Kozaki into the family. She was raised by Misaki Kozaki, the mother of Hirako. She wanted her to become an older sister to Hirako but Nokumi turned that offer down when she became an adult. Instead, she made sure to always be beside Hirako, and try and raise him and teach him everything that Misaki taught her but could not teach Hirako when after she died.
Nokumi inherited Misaki's mother figure and her kindness and she did not let that get wasted. After Misaki got brutally murdered while pregnant with the 7th kid of Watanabe, people started missing her, and that's where Nokumi came in to fill the void that was vastly growing in the hearts of everyone who once knew Misaki.
"I can't believe this, she actually smiled."
"Hirakooo, look... she smiled."
Akiru couldn't help but show his excitement, Nokumi was very happy as well, but the person that was the happiest was Hirako.
Hirako couldn't help it but get that warm fuzzy feeling that he had gotten before when they first met.
Was it 10 years ago? Was it even more than that? He couldn't focus on the actual answer. He was overwhelmed with emotions, but that feeling didn't last for too long.
Hirako's phone started ringing all of a sudden. It was his father.
"Hirako, I heard about what you did to that other student, was it necessary?"
"Yes, sir."
"Alright then, your brother finished his mission as well."
"How many factories did he find?"
"Thirty-two in total. Five of which are located in London, one of them had a massive number of chemicals and weapons and was protected by three strong soldiers."
"Does that include the one here?"
"No, we assigned that factory to you since your main mission wasn't too far from it."
"Hmm, you used me as bait didn't you?"
"Yes. I wanted you to discover that factory first so that the eyes of Satsujishi would turn on you instead of Sosuke which allowed him to quickly destroy all of those factories and get as much data as he can."
"didn't that mean that you would be putting the life of Asuka in danger?"
"No, I trust you. I knew that you will be able to get her back here unscratched... I have to go now, your grandfather is beating up some old rich politician as we speak. Your mission is to go back to the house and meet up with Sosuke. Your next mission will be given to you then."
"Wait, what about Asuka's father?"
"Reassure her that he will be saved and that his life is no danger at all since Satsujishi needs him to create those weapons."
"Yes, Sir."
"Any other questions?"
"No, Sir."
"Ok then, be careful son."
"Thank you. Sir."
"Akiru, Nokumi, and Asuka. Get ready, we are going back home."
