"So Axel's surgery went well?" Alexa confirmed. She was talking to her father over the phone.
"Yes, Dear. He has been transferred to the infirmary now. But... can I ask you something?" Nata asked from the phone.
"Please, Dad," said Alexa, occasionally glancing at Melvin who was sitting on the edge of the bed, focusing on his smartphone.
"Where did you get that much money in such a short time?" asked Nate.
Alexa was silent with a confused feeling because in fact in the beginning she got the money by auctioning herself. She knew, her father would be ashamed to death and disappointed when he found out about it even now being in a room with a man.
