"How are mom and dad doing at home?" Alexa asked after finishing a portion of her mini burger.
"They are healthy and are now excited about their new venture," Axel replied casually while playing with his cell phone.
Alexa sighed, remembering her neighbor sneering at her suddenly rich family. "Is anyone still gossiping about our family?" She asked.
"I don't know," said Axel.
"There are positives and negatives to this impromptu marriage," Alexa muttered. she looked relaxed leaning against the shoulder of the chair, crossing her legs, and rubbing her chin thoughtfully. I don't know what was going on in her mind, maybe about Melvin's attitude towards Joey, about Melvin's confession that he was jealous because Joey was married so he wanted to get married too?
