Chereads / His To Marry / Chapter 37 - chapter 37

Chapter 37 - chapter 37

The next morning, I wake up to an empty bed. I lay on the bed, watching the ceiling. Last night we decided to sleepover at my parent's house. After the intense moment we shared, we never went downstairs again. I don't know what to think of this situation; I thought I knew my parents, or at least Nora. Not only does she have a bitch of a sister, but they are bound to life. I guess Tay was right about not having a choice in a matter of family. No matter how screwed they are, they will always be family.

"You look cute when you are thinking," a voice says, startling me. I turn my head to find Tay leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. Already showered and dressed.

"God! You scared me," I say and sit up on the bed.

"What were you thinking about?" he asks and walks towards the bed.

"Nora and my parents," I say. He looks at me for a moment, then sighs.

"I have a surprise for you." he changes the subject and I'm grateful. If I think about it, I will probably get mad.

"What kind of surprise?" I ask, hoping that maybe he will tell me this time. Last time when he said he had a surprise for me, I ended up falling from the sky.

"If I tell you, then it will no longer be a surprise," he says and before I can think of a response, he plants a kiss on my forehead then walks out of the room.

I groan and walk to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and walk to my old walk-in closet. Luckily, I find a dress. I slip on my sneakers and grab my jacket.

Nora and Tay were laughing when I walked into the kitchen. "What's so funny?" I ask.

"Nora is showing me your pictures when you were young." I gasp at the mention of my old pictures.

"Oh, my god! Nora, how could you?" I accuse and try to grab the album away from Tay, but he lifts his hand.

After so many attempts, I finally give up and grab an apple from the fridge.

"Ready to go?" Tay asks, and I nod. I kiss Nora on the cheek and run after Tay, who is already at the door.

I slip in the passenger seat and Tay in the driver's seat.

"Were you serious about regretting not going to your mother's funeral?" I ask as he drives out of my parent's driveway.

"Yeah, and I didn't even give her a chance to hear her side of the story," he says, and I nod.

"I was thinking of telling Andrew the truth," he says and I stare at him, shocked.

"Um... I thought you said you won't tell him." he was determined to take the secret to the grave.

"I got some information, and when I have everything I need, I will tell him. He deserves to know," he says.

"What kind of information?" I ask.

"I will tell you later," he says, and I nod in understanding.

After a few minutes, the car comes to a halt, and I look around. There are stables around and people riding horses. I turn my attention back to Tay with a big smile on my face.

"Oh my God! Tay, I love it!" I crashed him into a hug.

"I know," he brags, and I hit him at the back.

"Yeah right," I roll my eyes at him and hop out of the car. We walk hand in hand to the stables.

"Hi, you must be Tay Payne," the girl wearing a white uniform says. Her hair in a ponytail.

"Yes, this is my wife, Olivia. The ride is booked for her," he says.

"Nice to meet you. Please follow me," she says and we follow her.

"This is Ginger," she says, patting the horse. She is dark brown and beautiful.

I walk towards her and brush my hand against her soft skin.

"Wanna ride with me?" I ask Tay, and he shakes his head way too quickly.

"Please?" I beg with puppy eyes.

"There is another horse available," the girl I learned her name is October says.

"Great," I say, and push Tay in October's direction before he can protest.

"But…" he doesn't get to finish as October drags him out.

I pull my hair into a ponytail and put the boots next to the horse on.

I climb on top of the horse and grab the rope that goes around its head and get it to walk. Today is a little cold but not cold enough to wear a Jersey. I spot Tay and make my way to him. He is riding a white horse and if looks could kill, I would be six feet under for the murderous look he is giving me.

"Follow me," I say, and get Ginger to run.

I love how the cold air breeze on my face feels. I missed this. It makes me feel free, like when I'm writing. I slow down to wait for Tay. I turn my head to look at Tay, but before I can even register what is going on, Tay is panicking. The horse is out of control and speeding way too fast, passing mine. Maybe I didn't think that through.

"Shit!" I curse and get Ginger to sprint in their direction.

After what felt like forever, I finally caught up with Tay. I smooth his horse on the neck while riding mine, trying to calm him down. I try again and he calms down.

I let out a deep breath.

"We are not doing this again soon." I chuckle at Tay's words and we walk the horses back.

"Thank you so much. I missed it and had fun!" I say to Tay as we walk to the car.

"Can't say the same," he says and I let out a laugh.

"Hungry?" he asks, and I nod. We climbed in the car.

"I know a place," I say and punch the address in the GPS.

"It's in the township," he says and I nod.

"Yep, they sell good township food," I say as Tay roars the car to life.

We arrive at Camp's. It's the same way I remember when I last visited.

"Well, well, look who just walked in," Camp says with a bright smile on his. He is the owner of this place and an old friend.

"Nice to see you too, Camp," I say and hug him. There are small tables around, people eating and chatting. It is small, but in good shape.

"This is Tay. My husband" I tell Camp. They exchange quick HI's.

"So, the usual?" Camp asks and I nod.

"Your Kota is coming really quick," he says and disappears into the kitchen.

"What is the usual?" Tay asks as we sit down.

"Kota with everything; chips, polony, ketchup, white bread and cheese." I say, and Tay shakes his head.

"If you wanted junk food, we would have gone to McDonald's you know?" he says and I roll my eyes at him.

"You have been eating leaves all your life; a little township junk food won't kill you." I laugh at him.

Camps place a tray with two kotas and two orange juices. I remember Nora coming back home with it when I was young. One day I asked her to tell me where she got it and ever since then I haven't been able to resist it.

"Are you sure you don't want to try it?" I ask before I can take a bite from the large Kota. He shakes his head no, and I roll my eyes then take a bite. I moan at the familiar taste in my mouth.

I open my eyes to find Tay capturing a photo of me.

"Hey!" I whine, but it just encourages him to capture more pictures.

"Try it," I say and bring my Kota to his mouth. He hesitates for a minute but ends up taking a bite. I watch him as he swallows, and I pull my lower lip between my teeth.

"And?" I ask.

"Not bad," he says and grabs his own. I half-smile at him, and we spent the rest of the day talking and laughing. Tay telling me how he and his brothers used to play pranks on Nana and his mother. That he loves to read fantasy books, but also makes time for other genres too. He and Nate loved making fun of Andrew and that they used to call themselves the three musketeers when they were young.

We say goodbye to Camp and head home. My phone buzzes as Tay drives Chad's name flashes on my screen. I look at Tay, but his head is glued to the road.

"Chad?" Tay snaps his head in my direction the minute Chad's name rolls from my tongue.

"Hey, can you come to my place?"

"Um, okay?" he hangs up before I can ask for an address

"What does he want?" Tay asks, his hands gripping on the wheel. My phone beeps and a text from Chad appears.

323 Mercury Street Riverview,

"Can you drive me to this address?" I showed Tay the address.

"I'm not driving you anywhere until you tell me what is going on," he spits, and I sigh.

"Chad needs my help, and this is his address. Now can you please make a U-turn?" I ask, and he glares at me.

"There's no way in hell I'm driving you to his house. He is delusional if he thinks you are going to show up," he spits.

"I will get out of this car if you won't turn around," I threaten, but he just glares at me and I do the stupidest thing ever and open the door of a moving car.

"Jesus Christ! Olivia, are you insane?" He yells as he pulls me back in the car.

"Okay, okay fine. I will turn the fucking car around, just stop acting like a madwoman." I mentally do a victory dance and cross my arms over my chest. He turns the car around, and we drive in silence.

****

Chad is standing at the door when Tay pulls into his driveway. I hop out of the car and rush to Chad.

"Hey," I say and hug him. He looks like he hasn't slept in days; he is in baggy pants and a black t-shirt.

"What happened?" I ask as we walk into his house. The house is beautiful, the walls are colored in dark grey and the floor is wooden. There are grey couches and a fireplace in the lounge. Pictures of him and his mother on the wall, some of when he was graduating. The kitchen is close to the living room. You can see everything that is happening in the lounge, just like in Tay's house.

There's a grey kitchen island with dark grey dots and barstools around.

"My Mom has been restless these past few days, and I have been injecting her to sleep, but I don't want to treat her like an animal. I hoped that since you two met, maybe you could help," he says and runs his hand through his hair. Tay is sitting next to me on the couch and has said nothing.

One thing I know for sure he is a bomb waiting to explode. Ever since the kiss I shared with Chad, they haven't crossed paths.

"I don't know really, I'm just hoping that maybe she will recognize you and calm down," he says and I think about what he says for a minute.

"I don't know if I could do it, but I can try," I say and Chad sighs.

"Thank you so much."

"Her room is on your left at the end hallway," Chad says and I stand up. I look at Tay for a moment. His eyes are glued on Chad. And I hope they don't kill each other while I'm gone.

I walk towards the hallway. There are also pictures, but these are flowers and the ocean.

I opened the door of the room. Chad told me to go slowly. Lira is sitting at the edge of the king-size bed tugging her hair hard; you would think they are going to get ripped off her head. She is in a white dress. The walls of her room are white. The room doesn't have much furniture.

I slowly walk towards the bed and sit down next to her.

"Hey," I say, but it seems like she didn't hear me. I pat her back, and she heads snap to meet mine. I swallow the lump that has formed in my throat at how bad she looks. Her eyes are bloodshot, she looks pale and weak.

"It's me, Olivia. Chad... Chad's girlfriend." I force the last words out. I hope she remembers me as she is the one who made up the whole girlfriend thing.

"Chad, my son," she says, and I nod.

"Do you remember me?" I ask. I watch as she tries to get her brain for the memory, and after feeling like an eternity she half-smiles.

"Yes, I remember you from Chad's office," she says, and I nod.

"Chad is worried about you," I say.

"Why?" she asks, confused.

Damn you, Alzheimer.

"You haven't been feeling well lately, but I'm here, so we are going to make Chad happy, right?" I ask, and she nods like a ten-year child.

"Come on," I say and help her stand up. I walk her to the bathroom and run her a bath.

I grab a nightgown from her closet as she finishes her bath. After a while, she walks out, and I hand her the gown. There's a plate on the bedside counter covered by another plate. She walks out fresh, and I hand her the plate. I sit on the bed as she eats and later yawns.

"Let's get you to bed, it's late," I say, and pull the sheets for her to get in. Within minutes she is out like a bulb and I walk out to find Tay and Chad killing each other in the living room.

"Tay!" I shout and run to them. I try to get Tay to back off, but it results with me on the floor. If I try again, I will surely get hurt and if I don't stop it, someone might end up in the hospital tonight. Tay is choking Chad.

I stand up and rush to the kitchen; I open the cupboards and grab a white plate. I walk back to the living room and stand next to their bodies. I lift the plate over my head and drop it on the wooden floor with full force.

They stop fighting and turn their heads in my direction.

"What are you? 18?" I ask, but do not wait for their response.

"Your mother is sick and needs you, but here you are acting like a damn teenager, and you," I point my finger at Tay.

"You need to do self-introspection and get yourself in check. If you still feel like killing each other, go ahead. I'm done here," I say and walk out of the house. I hug myself and walk to Tay's car. I slip into the passenger seat and wait for him. After a few minutes, he walks out and hops into the driver's seat. He pulls out of Chad's driveway.

The air around is tense, and he takes out his anger at the car, speeding like crazy.

"Tay, slow down," I say and grip on my seat belt. He ignores my comment and speed even more.

"Jesus Tay! You are going to kill us?" I yell, and we pass a police car on the side of the road.

"Shit!" He curses and within minutes a siren of a police car is heard. Tay slows down and pulls over to the side of the road.

We both hop out and the police park behind us. To my horror, detective Oliver and another one hops out.

"Well, well, we meet again," he says, and I sigh. This is not good.

"First assault, now speeding," he says and walks towards us.

"Detective," I say and nod at him.

"Are we going to the station willingly or do I have to drag you?" he asks, and Tay glares at him.

"You know damn well that we don't have to go to the station. Just give me the number and I will pay the damn fine." God! Did he have to make things worse?

I drag him to the police's car before hell breaks loose. I open the backseat and hop in.

"Your wife is smart. You must learn a few things from her," the detective says and Tay slips in after a while.

I stay silent during the drive to the police station. I don't even want to utter a word to Tay. This is his fault. After what felt like an eternity, the car comes to a halt in front of the police station. We climb out and walk to the entrance. Tay tries to talk to me, but I ignore him.

"Follow me," the detective says, and we follow him. I can't believe that I'm going to spend a night in jail.

"This will be your room for tonight," he says, and he opens the cell's gate. It is dark and there is a small bed at the end of the small room. It smells like shit.

"This is to teach your dear husband to never disrespect a police officer again," he says with a smirk on his face and closes the gate.

"Have fun," he says and walks away. The room is cold as shit.

"Are you going to be mute the whole night?" Tay annoys the hell out of me.

"Are you serious right now? This is your fault, and you expect me to jump for joy at spending a night in jail?" I am now yelling, but I don't care.

"Look on the bright side. You are spending your first night in jail with your husband," he says, and I glare.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I throw my hands in the air and lean against the cold wall. Tay stands in front of me, his hands on both sides of my head.

"You know I have been suffering from withdrawals all day." before I can process what he just said, he molds our lips together.

My body warms up at the familiar feeling; I kiss him back but try to push him off me at the same time. A shiver runs down my spine, and I moan. He takes my response to deepen the kiss, he slips his tongue in, and I give in to him. His hands wrap around my waist, and my hands move to his hair. I love the feeling of his hair in my hands, it's soft. Our tongues move in sync and the kiss becomes rough. It's a whole new feeling. His grip tightens on my waist and kisses me like I'm in his last breath. Not that I'm complaining. I love it.

His trail wet kisses down my jaw, and I moan. I tug the roots of his hair and he groans. His hands move up my thighs, but I stop him.

"Tay... we can't," I say, panting, our chest moving in sync. His eyes are dark and his lips are swollen.

"I want you now." his words send a shiver down my spine, and before I can think about my hormonal rush decision, I crash my lips with Tay's thinking about the last time he was inside me.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

Jesus! Olivia, where are your morals?

He runs his fingers on top of my panties and I moan.

"So ready for me," he says against my lips. He breaks the kiss and takes off my panties.

"Bend over that bed," he instructs, and I oblige. I grip the steel bed frame and Tay searches his jean's pockets and takes out a condom.

"Don't tell me you always carry condoms around?" I say, and he chuckles.

"You never know when you might need it," he says and rips the foil pocket with his teeth. I watch him slip the condom on his hard shaft.

He enters me and I moan, but he covers my mouth.

"We have to be quiet or else we are going to spend another night here if they catch us," he says, and I smile against his palm.

"You are going to be quiet, right?" he asks, and I nod. He uncovers my mouth, and I lower my lip between my teeth to prevent a moan from coming out.

He pushes his length deeper than before. His hands tighten around my torso and thrust in and out of me.

"You are so tight," he says, and I tighten my arms around the bed frame.

"Look at me?" he demands, but my body won't let me. I'm in pure bliss and I don't think my body can take any demands.

"Eyes on me, love" his voice was full of dominance but soft at the same time.

I turn my head and look into his eyes. They are still dark. He rests his forehead against mine, and he goes deeper and I fight to keep my eyes open.

There are beads of sweat on his forehead.

"I love you," he says and before I think of a response, he hits my g-spot. Sending me to pure bliss. I close my eyes and wait for my breath to go back to normal.

I can't believe I just had sex in jail. What has gotten into me?

After a while, he pulls out and takes off his shirts.

We just had sex right now. I don't think my body can handle it again.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"Jesus! You have quite the imagination," he chuckles and bent down, and cleanses me up with his t-shirt.

"Oh," I say, and bite my lower lip.

We walk to the small bed and climb on. My back against Tay's hard chest.

"Goodnight love," he says.

"Night," I say, and close my eyes to sleep.

****

I jolted awake because of the uncomfortable bed. Tay's hand is wrapped around my torso, and his head nuzzles in the crook of my head. I blink my eyes at the brightness and try to get out of Tay's grip. I still can't believe that I'm in jail being treated like a criminal, and it's all because of Tay. I should be in my bed, still sleeping right now, but here I am. In a jail cell. I grab my shoes and put them on. A hand wrapped around my waist. "Good morning," Tay startles me.

I turn around and face him. His hair is messy, some falling into his face. Still, shirt-less. If we aren't in jail, I would have admired him more. He leans in to kiss me, but I turn my head, and he kisses my cheek.

"Don't get any ideas, I'm still mad at you for this" I gesture around with my finger and get out of his grip.

"I thought I was forgiven after I fucked the living out of you last night," he says, and I glare at him.

"That was a moment of weakness, won't be happening soon," I say and walk towards the cell bars.

"Hello?" I shout. I need to get out of here.

"Anybody there?" I shout again. After a while footsteps are heard.

Detective Oliver stands in front of the cell with a smirk on his face, "I hope you enjoyed your first night in jail since you didn't get to spend the night the last time." he says looking at Tay and he walks towards me with his t-shirt in his hand.

"I had a great night in fact, detective," he says and I swallow the lump in my throat thinking about last night. I hope Oliver notices nothing or else I will be embarrassed.

"Now can we go?" he asks, glaring at Oliver.

"Yes, but you have to pay the fine before you go," Oliver says and unlocks the lock around the bars.

Tay hands me the car keys and follows Oliver and me, walking out of the police station to the car.

Tay's car is parked in front of the police station lot. Someone must have driven it here. I get in the passenger seat, and for a moment I think about getting in the driver's seat and leave him behind. He deserves it for lending us in jail.

After what felt like an eternity, he appears and slips into the driver's seat. He pulls out of the police's drive lot and hits the road to home. I rest my head against the window and close my eyes to sleep.

"Babe, wake up," a voice says, and I groan.

"Love, we are home," he says, and I groan again.

"Leave me alone," I say.

"Jesus! I forgot how difficult it is to wake you up. I guess I have to use another method," he says and a door opens. After a while, my door opens, causing me to lose the balance of my head, but a hand catches me.

"Argh," I groan. He unbuckles my seat belt, and I climb out of the car.

I walk past him and into the house.

"What happened to you?" Future asks, dressed in creamy dress, and holding a bowl.

"I will explain later. Right now, I need a hot shower and my bed," I say and rush up the stairs.

I strip out my clothes and turn the shower on. I close my eyes as the hot water hits my body, relaxing my tense muscles. Fingers travel down my arms and my stomach explodes in butterflies.

I hate how my body betrays me the whole time. "I'm sorry," Tay says against my ear, and a shiver runs down my spine.

He kisses my neck, and I pull my lower lip between my teeth to stop a moan from coming out. He turns the shower off and turns me around. His hair is glued to his head and some on his forehead. He molds our lips together and my body warms up. My hands go around his neck, and he moans.

He lifts me and my legs go around his waist without breaking the kiss. He slips his tongue in, and I moan out his name. He breaks the kiss and trail kisses down my jaw. I throw my head against the glass wall to give him better access. He trails kisses down the valley between my breasts and I moan.

I don't know what it is about Tay, but I can't resist him. He has more effect on me than I imagined. He sucks my nipple, and I tuck the roots of his hair, causing him to moan.

"I can't keep my hands to myself when it comes to you," he says against my skin and a shiver travels down my spine.

"I can't get enough of you," he says and lifts his head to look at me. His eyes are dark and his chest is heaving up and down.

He travels his fingers up and down my throbbing heat, and I moan.

"Already wet...just for me," he says, still staring at me.

He removes his fingers and replaces them with his length. My breath hitches in my throat. He rests his forehead against mine and within seconds he slips in my heat.

I moaned, and it hit me.

"Tay, con...condom," I say through my ragged breath.

"I want to feel you, babe, please let me," he begs, his voice is different. Like desperate to feel me skin to skin and I let him.

He pounds into me, and I cry out in pleasure. It's nothing like I imagined, it's like we are in another world. A world of pleasure.

"Fuck! You feel so good," he says and pecks my lips. I close my eyes as pleasure takes over my body.

He thrusts in and out of me, increasing his thrusts every time. I moan, and it's like what he needed to reach his climax. He thrust deep, and we both reached our climax at the same time.

We stay in the same position, trying to catch our breaths. After a while, he pulls out, leaving me feeling empty.

"I'm sorry for lending us a night in jail," he apologizes, and I nod even though I'm still mad at him. He grabs a soap and washes my body, and uses hair shampoo to wash my hair.

We both dry ourselves, and I dress up in his t-shirt. I climb on the bed and close my eyes to sleep.
