In the end Rose and Aya couldn't stall Yeil for too long. They were currently being escorted out of the facility by Yeil as the guards eyed them warily. They thanked Yeil once more for her cooperation and she beamed at them with a smile. They had done all they could and hoped Tara would be able to get out by herself.
They were about to go their way when Yeil's comm band beeped and she answered in whispers to whoever she was conversing with. The call itself was short and when she was done she suddenly turned to the two. The call was obviously not good news by the twisted look on her face.
'How could I not see through that illusion,' she rebuked herself as she chanted up a flame spell mixed with darkness that made it twice as deadly.
Aya intervened though, before she could even release her spell, slamming her fist into the demon lady's chest with enough power that her ribs painfully cracked loud enough for everyone to hear. The punch launched Yeil a good two metres back and she rolled along the ground until one of the guards stopped her. The two lizard men stepped forward, charging at the girls with their swords drawn.
"You handle this Aya. They're not worth my time," Rose stepped back letting Aya take on the two.
Even though it was two on one it wasn't anything Aya couldn't handle, rushing the first guard faster than he'd expected owing to her beast bloodline. His blade just passed by her while she grabbed his extended arm and threw him over her shoulder and slammed him to the ground knocking the wind out of him. She turned to the other, missing his wide swing by ducking underneath and giving him a mean uppercut right to his chin. Rose could swear she heard something crack with the guard losing conciousness immediately.
"More incoming," Rose pulled Aya's attention to three more guards coming all the way from the other side of the building.
"You're really not gonna help?" She asked Rose who moved to her side.
"Not in the slightest. I know you enjoy a good fight, hopefully they are enough to satisfy you," Rose moved a bit further away to let Aya handle all the incoming threat.
"Well that is true."
Aya rushed at their attackers, her martial skill and prowess displaying once more as she swept through the three in a flawless display without so much as a scratch from them.

Tara stuffed the journal into her jacket pocket, lucky it was sizeable enough to fit in it. She was thinking about calling the liutenant when another presence interrupted her plans. Yeil came into the chamber, just having slipped away from Aya and Rose while they were entangled with the guards. Though Rose did see her move she didn't bother going after her. After that punch to the chest she coughed up a mouth full of blood with the streams of blood now drying around the corners of her mouth.
Her first thought though after recovering from the fist to her chest was to secure her boss's work under the plant room. As she had suspected Tara had managed to get inside and now it was up to her to at least stop her so that her boss's plans for the night should at least proceed without interference.
"Let me pass and I won't have to do anything rash. As it stands you can barely walk," Tara warned the woman.
"You are right about that, but I don't have to fight you myself," Yeil pulled out a small orb from her inner coat pocket, whispering a chant as the orb took on a blue glow.
With the remainder of her strength she chucked it in Tara's direction though the orb itself flew over her. The orb slotted itself into the giant metal golem behind her, in a small hole within its chest. For a while nothing happened, both women waiting in anticipation for whatever is to come next. Even Yeil herself didn't know what was supposed to happen. She had never witnessed the golem in action but only followed the instructions Corey had relayed to her to perform in the most extreme of situations.
The first thing that caught their attention was the sudden glow of the eye slots of the golem, before the two and a half meter monstrosity roared to life. The turning of gears and the creaks of its joints produced loud noises while the golem took a proper stance rather than the crouched position it had been placed in.
As the one who activated the orb or now the golem's core Yeil had the ability to give it instructions and the first was obvious.
"Crush her!"
The golem stirred in response, raising its giant fist in a bid to smash Tara to nothing but a stain on the floor. The room itself was cramped to completely support its movements, an advantage to Tara who drew her swords and jumped as far from the golem as she could as its fist connected with the ground, cracking it completely and shaking the entire room as dust rose everywhere.
'Maybe fighting it here isn't much of an advantage. The chamber looks just about ready to cave in on itself,' Tara thought as she bounded for the exit, not forgetting to knock Yeil into a total black out with a spin kick and picking up the female while the golem followed her with slow but long strides.
The golem literally smashed its way through the small corridor, causing the room to actually cave in with the plant room from above falling into the chamber below. Lucky for Tara she had made her way out fast. It seemed as though the golem would continue with its command even though the one commanding it was incapacitated.
The golem followed her into the first section where all the construction stuff was being held, just pushing through everything with ease. Tara set down Yeil as far as possible deciding to face the golem head on. The golem opened its maw, letting a stream of pressurized flamed shoot from it with the intent to burn Tara to ashes. However Tara countered, swinging one of her blades in a wide arc as she conjured up a huge mass of ice Infront of her. The two forces collided in a burst of hot steam that clouded the room, giving Tara the chance to move in on the golem. And her first thought was to take it of its feet, sliding for its feet with her blades drawn back before swinging at the left leg with all her strength. The moment the hit connected Tara let out a groan with her blade merely sliding along the metal with only two shallow marks to show for.
The golem raised its left leg and brought it down on Tara who rolled away at the last second. The foot almost sunk into the ground, displaying the strength of the golem. The steam was slowly dissipating, though Tara could guess the golem didn't operate with the same vision as the races. If her blades couldn't cut through that metal maybe magic could. She cast her ice spell, forming up a large ice spear with the diameter of young tree and launched it at the golem's head. Nonetheless it was more disappointment for Tara with the golem's head snapping back from the impact but only a dent to show for it.
'Who would have thought something this tough existed,' Tara cast three more ice spears, one hitting its chest, another the leg and the last back at the head. Of course she could only dent it once more as the golem charged at her and swung its fist at her with all its might. Tara however didn't move away this time but jumped at it as the fist passed below her, smashing everything in its wake into pieces as others lodged themselves into the walls with enough force to bring it down.
Riding the momentum of the punch Tara ran up the full length of its arm, jumping high into the air, her swords drawn over her head as she drove them into the eye slots of the golem. The golem gave a roar, making Tara wonder whether it could actually feel pain as it opened its maw once more, getting ready to smoke Tara right there while she was still on top of it. However Tara cast one of the few lighting spells she had managed to grasp albeit it was a simple one. Surge was a spell that summoned up a stream of lightning through Tara's swords into the golem's body that caused it to freeze, the jet of flame it was about to release subsiding back into its body before Tara jumped off the golem.
Tara stepped further back as sweat trickled down her rosy cheeks. She'd hoped the lightning had fried it from the inside from the way the golem now stood motionless. The commotion and sheer destruction though was enough to bring over Aya and Rose and Rose let out a long whistle.
"What the hell happened. It's all hot and steamy in here," Aya said looking at the golem.
"What sort of passionate undertakings were you and that hulking metal man possibly doing, and did it actually fit in you," Rose just had to tease.
"Nothing went in me!" Tara sighed.
"It's some sort of golem Alloway Corey's been working on. He intends to-" Tara was cut off by the clinks and shinks and creaks of the golem that was once more active.
"You couldn't finish that thing off," Rose spoke, not really in the mood to join the battle.
"I thought I had, looks like it's going to take a lot more," Tara took a stance, her swords at the ready.
The golem let out a shrill shriek, turning to face the girls with some difficulty. It seemed not every bit of it had recovered from the lightning. It opened its jaws wide, and the fire built up pressure within it before being released once more. This time though it was about five times as powerful forcing the girls to split up and jump far away on either side as the beam of flame burst through the wall. The golem didn't stop however, turning his head to follow Tara who had solely moved to its left. The endless stream of flame followed her, the golem with every intent of burning her to a crisp, no, wipe her existence clean of the face of Nava.
Tara was forced to run round it, the golem turning to follow her with its flames, razing everything in its path down to cinders. The walls weren't spared either, and the building was beginning to collapse in on itself while the room was now rising to close to a hundred degrees in temperature. The golem itself wasn't faring well itself, its body steaming while the core sparked with instability. If it kept at it it would explode itself but judging by the amount of power it had it would take along three blocks of the district on either side of it too...
