During the First Great War, Ifreet pledged his loyalty towards the Dark Lord after the two had a showdown.
It was a showdown between two extremely powerful beings where the victor would be declared as the absolute ruler of the demon race.
Before the showdown, the demon race had a divide. Demons worshipped whom they felt more powerful and sinister between the two.
But in the end, Apollion proved himself as far more powerful than Ifreet. After the showdown, the Dark Lord convinced the Emperor of Flames that they have the same goals and share the same fate.
