A few days later, it was the weekend. Before Saturday arrived, last Friday Roxie watched her friends compete. She was amazed by their kind of powers.
She just found out that Frey has the power of heat ray vision which emits a red laser beam from her eyes. Then, Jessie has an elastic power that can stretch her body anywhere. They easily won their match.
As for Skye and Livy, Roxie had known in advance about their powers. There was nothing new. Except, when they competed, they almost lost.
Almost.
Skye could only try to dodge, buying some time, then touch the person's hand to find out what their previous plans were. As a result, she managed to defeat that person by watching their movements according to the plan made by that person inside their mind. She finally managed to punch them in the face when the timing was right, then the person fainted, and she won.
Tch, lucky girl.
As for Livy, every attack she gets will definitely heal by itself. Then, she creates protective bubbles on herself. Also, she created a large invisible box above her opponent's head. As a result, she managed to fight the person by locking them in a box which she shrinks into a smaller and smaller box so that the person was pinned to the ground. At last, she won the match.
Roxie was amazed by their powers.
Due to their match time was over, they made a special schedule entitled 'Roommates' Day' for the five of them only. It is a vacation day from their match. As well as to celebrate Roxie who had stayed in this school for a week. They exaggerate too much but Roxie didn't mind.
And so, they went to the beach using Livy's power. They gathered in Livy's bubble. Then, they were lifted and flew towards the shore.

A few minutes later, they had arrived in an instant.
They then changed their clothes into swimsuits. Roxie wore a black one-piece swimwear, Jessie wore a black one-piece with art cactus printed on it, and Livy wore a pink lace-up one-piece swimsuit.
As for Skye and Frey, they wore bikinis. Skye is wearing a red bikini. Meanwhile, Frey wore a light blue bikini.
After changing, they then play in the water to their heart's content.
They splash water on each other, play in the sand, burying Jessie in the sand and then form a mermaid body on her, collecting seashells, and swim to their heart's content in the sea.
The day was filled with joy and laughter from these five people.
Until without realizing it, the day was getting dark. They sat on the sand and then looked at the sky, which had turned orange, pink, and yellow. They just stay there while enjoying the view and each other's company. Also, their growing friendship.
Skye sighed, "I've never felt this good in my life," she admitted.
"Same," Jessie replied.
"I haven't had the chance to talk to you guys about this, but I'm going to say it now, I'm lucky to have roommates and friends like you. You guys are already like a family to me," Livy said as she looked at us fondly.
The four of them then 'aww'-ed at her.
"Group hugs!" Jessie exclaimed as she scooted all of us closer to her.
"Hey, careful, Jess, you don't want me to touch you so I could get to know about your pasts yet," Skye warned her, she tried to avoid her palms and fingers touched the others.
"Nah, I don't mind," Jessie replied with a shrug.
"Speaking of pasts, let's get to know each other more. Starting from you, Roxie," Frey pointed at Roxie.
"What? Why me?"
"Since we didn't know about your life before this school. So, tell us, how was it living with your parents? How's your mom and dad?" She continued with a smile.
Roxie was silent for a moment while thinking about her parents.
Everyone was waiting for her to speak while feeling a cool breeze blow into them.
Roxie then looked out over the sea, chuckled as she remembered her mother's face, "Well, my mom is always there for me. She always hugs me in the morning before going to school and always reminds me to be careful. She likes to worry about me, a lot. She is a good mother, " She smiled.
"Meanwhile, my father ... "
Roxie's smile suddenly turned flat.
She sighed, "Honestly, I don't really know him,"
She started to rant, "He always went out of the house and sometimes never came back. Sometimes he just says goodbye to my mother, but never for me. I can't even memorize his face because he often works outside. Then, suddenly he disappeared. Leaving me not long for him,"
Her friends started getting teary.
"I haven't even found an answer as to why he disappeared and even have to protect myself from who. Everything makes no sense. I have to do everything for his sake. I don't know whether he still exists or not,"
She also started getting teary. Her voice also started to get hoarse.
"I don't even know if he loves me or not," She burst into tears.
She sniffed, "Ah, sorry guys, I did terrible storytelling," she said, rubbing her eyes.
They all hugged her immediately.
"Oh, Roxie, we all love you," said Livy.
"I'm pretty sure your father loves you too as much like your mother, but in his own way," Frey said.
She continued, "The proof is, he told your mother, right? To send you here immediately when you need protection. I think he loves you through his own actions, and I guess that's enough for you to know that he loves you," She explained, caressing Roxie's hair.
"I think he's busy with his job as the King of his Kingdom. It might be a little hard for him to say goodbye to you because he thinks you're still a kid to understand the situation, so all he can do is to protect you," Skye also tried to explain.
"They're right, Roxie. Fathers may look like jerks sometimes, but they love their daughters,"
Jessie summed up all her friends' sentences.
Roxie then chuckled because it was funny coming from Jessie.
She sniffed again, "Thanks, guys. You guys are the best," She then hugged all of them.
A few moments later, they released their embrace.
"You know what, it will be night soon. Let's go back to the dorms," said Frey, standing up and dusting off the sand.
She then continued, "We'll save others' stories for the next vacation day,"
Everyone agreed with her opinion then got up as well.
The day ended in a playful yet sad ending. But creating a strong bond of friendship.
They then changed their clothes and returned to their dormitory.
