The carriage was prepared by the head butler upon Azriel's command. By noon final preparations were made to set for the Günter estate.
"Your new life will be different from before. But I wish you luck on your new journey." Azriel gave his farewell and decided to see them off. Unfortunately, the butler reminded him about his schedule thus leaving them to the carriage.
-"Even on this occasion, he is busy."She sighed.
"My lady." Jack suddenly interfered.
"Hmm?" She looked at him surprised.
"C-can I ask you for a favor?"
"What is it?" She asked curiously.
His cheeks flushed red while trying to avoid eye contact with her.
"Can you permit me to see the young miss?"
"Young miss?Yulia?"
He nodded looking down embarrassed.
"Why not? She would be mad at me for sending you off without her presence."She smiled.
They visited her room sparing some time.
He looked at her and smiled bitterly.
-" She hasn't woken up yet." he stared at the sleeping girl.
"Don't worry. She is just resting up. The physicians reassured if her health."Sloane said resting her left hand on the sword.
He took off a bracelet made out of glass beads. They were transparently etched with tiny herbal leaves in them.
" What is this?"Sloane interrogated earnestly.
"Father bought it for my mother from the main temple. It is a rare ornament that even nobles yearn to get their hands on. It is a bracelet that symbolizes a healthy life. But my mother had no chance of getting better. She was sickly since birth. So she used to wear this. I can't give anything better for lady Yulia...so I wanted to give her this."
He gently slipped the bracelet on her arm.
"Wait isn't it a priceless piece?" Sloane tried to give it back to him.
"Lady Sloane. Your sister gave me something more priceless in my eyes. This bracelet might not compare to this." He retorted placing his hand on his sword which had the beaded tassel tied.
"Thank you...Jack." she patted him on his shoulder.
"Let's go."
He took one last glance at the girl and closed the door behind him.
-"How embarrassing." He thought.
"My lady please come back to us. Please."
They boarded in the carriage and set off for the Günter's estate.
Nine had his bow resting in his knees. He rested his head in his hand as he looked out of the window.
They passed through the busy streets of the capital. Looking at the villages that came by. It was almost evening when they arrived at their destination.
The coachman and the footman helped them out and with their luggage even though there was nothing much they bought with them other than the clothes and stuff Azriel ordered for them during the stay.
They met the elegant lady who warmly welcomed them.
The mansion was entirely different from what she had seen on her last visit.
The house was repainted and the garden looked stunning with a variety of different types of flowers with an adequate amount of greenery in every corner.
It looked fascinating.
There were more than five servants hired by the baroness. They carried their luggage to their respective rooms.
"Lady Elise. This place looks magical"Sloane commented. Although it was nothing compared to the mansions and palaces that Nirvanas owned. But to her, this humble mansion was a place straight out of a fairytale.
" Why thank you, my dear. I went all out so that my future, sons would like it."She smiled shyly.
Whilst Nine and Jack looked around in awe.
"And my dear I wanted to talk about some things before dinner. Would you mind?"
"Not at all my lady," Sloane replied and obediently followed the middle-aged woman.
The boys were guided to fresh up before dinner.
Lady Elise guided her to her study.
"Please make yourself comfortable," she said. Sloane obediently sat on the sofa.
Then the baroness headed towards a wall-sized bookshelf and brought forth something which looked like an envelope.
She placed it on the table near Sloane who figured out that it was something more important than just having a relaxed conversation.
"I would like you to give it to Marquess Nirvana Lady Sloane." She said but in a slightly strict tone than her usual.
"This madame...?"
Elise nodded and stated that these papers were confidential and that her father could understand what is in there.
"I see. Then I will deliver them as per your request." Sloane replied but her mind was curious about the contents of the papers.
But she was not the type to force her way in other's matters unless she were to be involved in them.
"I apologize for making you work like this my dear. Although one of my servants was to deliver them. But it is better to hand it over to a person who I place ny trust in." She smiled.
Sloane was flustered when she heard the word "trust." It was a complicated word for her.
-"Trust."Her mind repeated it.
"By the way, you look quite down. Has something happened?"
The girl looked up-facing the lady. She was sure that no one would care if she was in despair. But it was in the past.
"It is nothing, big madame. Please do not concern yourself with this."She replied looking down.
" I won't force you. But it is much better to reside in someone when you are in pain."
-"Cecile said something like this when I cried until my eyes could no longer shed tears. It was only the second time I had ever cried like that. I swore to myself to not show a hint of my weakness. But...this life is a blessing. It is different from the one before."
"Sigh*My younger sister is suffering from an illness."
