Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 4:I WILL KEEP HER SAFE!

Sloane barged into her room with anger boiling her blood.

"Cecile. Bring out the usual clothes. I will be going out for a while. Notify Lucas of my absence in today's training."

"Yes.Right away milady." The orange-haired maid rushed out of the room.

After changing, Sloane left the main building towards the stable.

"Jack! Bring out, Ebony." She called out to the stable boy.

"Aye!Right away!" Jack saluted and ran inside.

Jack was a year younger than Sloane. He was the son of the previous stable keeper. The marquess offered him this job after his father died due to an incurable disease.

He seemed to be fond of the Nirvana sisters. Sloane would personally train him since he loved the Knights Order.

In the last timeline, he was the only one of the few people who stood up for her family. But eventually lost his life failing to protect Yulia.

"Milady here's Ebony. She's all set." Jack came out of the stable bringing out a jet black colored mare. The horse neighed moving her whitetail.

Sloane caressed the horse as it sniffed around her.

"Missed me?"Sloane chuckled.

Sloane got on the horse and pulled her reins.

" Hiya!"

"Have a save trip milady," Jack called out waving his hand.

Marquess Nirvana watched his twelve years old daughter galloping out of the main gate.

"Follow her." He gestured a man in a cloak.

The man vanished in thin air without a word.

"Your daughter has grown up Estelle." He said smiling. Bitterness in his smile dominated grief for his late wife as he stared at her portrait.

By evening Sloane reached the border of the capital where Günter residence was located.

The residence was smaller than she anticipated.

"As expected of a poor noble household." Sloane thought as she entered the main gate.

A small impoverished garden at the entrance. Sloane opened the door and called out.

"Is anyone here?" Her voice echoed in the hall. A servant came running and greeted her.

"Where is your master?"Sloane demanded. Her blood-red eyes shook the core of the servant as they glared from beneath the cloak.

" The master is out to attend some business matters." the man said bowing deeply.

"Meeting? Probably out drinking." Sloane flamed.

As she turned to leave, she threw a small bag of gold coins.

"Keep your mouth shut about my appearance. Else you pay with your life."

"Eeek! Yes yes, I will. Please spare me."

"Good." Sloane got on her horse and galloped off.
