What should I write about today? Would he get mad if I mentioned Isaiah? Would he even care? It's not like he is the jealous type. I passed my Geography test. I could mention that. I learned a new dance move from lady Mia. She still balances books on my head, though. Okay. Let's get serious about writing this damn letter. I have one hour to get this done.

After writing the letter, and my usual drawing, I climbed up my bed. I waited for Marina to tuck me in and read me the typical bedtime story.

"There are three new books. Choose which one you want me to read, Princess." Marina ordered as she placed the books on the bed.

As I carefully observed the book covers, one stood out in particular. It was a black, leather book with gold lettering 'The Forgotten Prince.' I quickly pointed at the black book.

"This one! I want you to read this one!"

Marina picked up the book and tilted her head.

"Hmm… How about this one, Princess? This one is about fairies! The cover is quite nice!" Marina picked up the pink book with the other hand.

I gave my usual mellow expression and shook my head.

"No. I want that one. The black one." I replied.

Marina sighed gently and nodded.

"Very well. Let's see… There once lived a young, handsome emperor. His glorious appearance resembled the sun god—blonde hair like gold and sapphire eyes like the crystal sea. Proud and arrogant, he cherished his god-like features. The young emperor search high and low for his wife to be, an empress of his image. 'She must resemble the sun god, for I must carry on the imperial blood strong.' The ambitious emperor stated with dignity. Months turned into years with no luck of his matched beauty. The emperor was no longer youthful. His golden hair soon turned silver, his smooth skin began to wrinkle. Desperate for his ideal bride, the old emperor went on a dangerous journey to find the shadow mage. 'Only black magic can create my ideal bride. I must act quickly before it is too late.' He thought to himself. After 10 days and 9 nights through the desert, he managed to reach the shadow region where the shadow mage lives. 'You are to make me youthful and create a bride of my image, as the sun god.' The emperor demanded to the shadow god. 'Old and foolish, the emperor of this land has come to beg. I shall remove thirty years off your time clock. You will be in your prime years as a young emperor. I am to create your perfect bride with only one favor in return." The shadow mage requested.

"As much as you cherish your god-like appearance, I shall collect your sapphire eyes the day of your passing." The shadow mage demanded with an evil grin.

After a long pause in thought- the emperor agreed. The old emperor was once again youthful and handsome. But most importantly, he was granted a bride from his own image - golden hair and sapphire eyes—an unmistakable beauty by his side. The young emperor was given a second chance in life with what he thought was true happiness.

Without question, everyone cherished the newlywed couple. Shortly after, the beautiful empress fell pregnant. She gave birth to twin princes. The firstborn baby was beautiful. His blonde hair resembled the bright sun, and his eye color was the color of the crystal ocean. However, the second baby was born weak and different from his brother… though beautiful, like a porcelain doll - he had black hair like the shadows of the night. His eye colors were different from one another… well, this is an odd book. Let's carry on….' Marina read with a vibrant tone.

As I listened to the story, It reminded me of the Konig brothers. Aren't they twins? If I remember correctly, their royal highlights are blonde, golden hair with sapphire eyes. Yet, he has black hair with heterochromia.

After a short while, I slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

From a distance, I heard children giggle softly. My vision seems a bit blurry. Am I in a garden? I walked towards the two blurry figures. The closer I got, I could see their faces more clearly. Two boys. Identical twins by facial features. Except, one had this… glowing aura. His hair was golden blonde and his eyes shined a sky-blue color. His energy was beautiful and calming. The other boy, his atmosphere was dark. Black hair like mine. His eyes - blue, and the other one was… a soft honey-yellow. His expression is sad… depressed even. A group of giggling children appeared in front of me like a magic trick. They all played with the beautiful, glowing child. They all turned and pointed at the sad child and began to laugh at him as he fell to the ground. He lowered his head as they started to throw rocks at him. I quickly ran in front of him and hugged him as I tried to protect his tiny frame with mine.

STOP! LEAVE HIM ALONE!

Suddenly, as I slowly raised my head to see the laughing children, I could only see this glowing child. He presented an evil grin and picked up a rock by his foot.

"You freak. DIE! DIE!"

I opened my eyes quickly as I took a deep breath. I looked around, finding myself in my bed. I looked at the balcony window, where I could see the bright moon.

I sat up from my bed and sighed.

This book… something about it… tells me it is not a typical fairy tale. It seems… like it is telling a story from experience.

I felt a sudden chill run down my spine. I got up and walked towards the balcony.

"That book… where is it?" I mumbled as I turned back around and began walking in search of the black book.

"Ah! Here you are! " I said to myself with excitement as I grabbed it from my nightstand.

It's a good thing I learned how to read the Giodivonian language. Now let's see. What was the last thing I remembered Marina reading aloud before I passed out?

Now that I am looking at this book a bit closer,It seems… hand made. The stitching of this book seems a bit mediocre as well. The leather is of low quality, and the gold ink is peeling off. Considering it was a gift from Hansol, I would not assume his intention was to get me a used book or a low-quality book at that. Two books are often brought to me every two weeks. This time, it was an odd number of three. Why three? Did someone place this book randomly?

My dream is also not a coincidence. This book and that dream are linked together.

"Let's see what this book is about tomorrow." I mumbled as I laid back down, hugging the book.
