Dzarma was stunned by what had just occurred. He dashed up to Akaya and felt her pulse. He held her icy hand and took some anguish from her while seeing her pinched brows soften before she fell asleep.
He lifted her into his arms and brought her to the sofa, where he lay her before returning to the now-ruined bed and removing the pillows and sheets. He made her comfortable by laying her head and back on the pillows.
He covered her with the blankets because he assumed her chilly hands meant she was cold.
"Keep warm, I don't want to be slain by Lucky when he wakes up," he remarked as he straightened up and walked over to Lucky's bed.
He wanted to pull the boy's wet shirt off, but it was drying off owing to the state of his body at the time.
"Should I simply take it off?" he wondered before choosing to ultimately remove Lucky's tee shirt.
He eventually removed Lucky's tee shirt before tossing it away and partially covered him with blankets.
