Daniel tried to run but he couldn't. He wanted to reach the castle as fast as possible but that was not possible. His limbs and lungs still hurt a lot because of the impact that had been caused when he had hit the forest floor.
His lungs burnt up from within because of lack of enough air as he tried to walk faster and the heavy breathing that emitted from his mouth since he was breathing through it.
He did not like this at all and for a minute he wished that he could fly. That would have made things easier for him though, since he would have just sprouted out some wings and flew over to the castle quicker and that would have saved him some time and energy as well.
He had no idea why he was this affected where he shouldn't have been in such pain.. he was a werewolf for crying out loud and this was not supposed to happen, or was it? He had no idea.
