"Oof it's getting colder." Daniel complained as he shivered from the cold breeze that was blowing past them.
"Yeah I can feel it too." Lucky replied. "I think that, if we're getting closer towards the frozen Nightwing's territory, the more it'll get colder."
Truth be known, that his chest hurt the most at this point, but he was trying his best to conceal the pain so that Daniel wouldn't smell his pain and know that he was hurting because if he knew, then, he wouldn't let Lucky go to the Nightwing's territory and yet, he wanted to go. He wanted to go see what was wrong and also, help out those poor phoenixes that needed his help.
It's not like he was playing savior or something... He just didn't want his fellow phoenixes to be in trouble... He was doing all of these out of good will, nothing more, nothing less.
"You're right. It's like, the higher you climb up a mountain, the colder it gets." Daniel added.
