"I can't hate him. It's not his fault that he was born a firewing Phoenix under those cursed ancestors of his, so why should I hate him?" Daniel asked out loud, his eyes were fixed on Lucky though he could feel Minerva's eyes on him.
He heaved out a sigh and moved a little in the small chair he was seated on. It made his butts hurt but there was nothing he could do unless he chose to remain standing up or seated on the dirty floor of the house.
Minerva poured some water in a clean cup and gave it to him which he gladly took, muttering a small thank you at the end as he received it.
"So, you'll follow him?" Minerva asked, watching the younger male.
"Why shouldn't I?" He questioned back. "I know perhaps his clan is going through the chaos from the sacrifices the sandwings got and all the sins they committed after the sacrifices took place.. I believe I might be of help when it comes the time of him unearthing that truth,"
