Why would the gods gift him with a werewolf mate of all people? Did the gods want to punish him for something he had done?
If so, what had he done to deserve this? And the way he had so hopefully waited for a mate hoping that his love story would be the best... Better than the cliché fairy tales that he had read before, now it seemed that his story was going to be the worst of them all.
