Chapter 1 - Hello Mr. Harrison

✞✞

~Oct 2019~

{George's POV}

"Geo! It's good to see you!" Tony smiled, reaching his hand out for me to shake.

"Good to see you again, T." I smiled back, shaking his hand with a firm grip.

Tony quickly gestured for my to come in, as I entered the hallway I heard Tony huff and rolled his eyes.

"Del! There is a surprise for you!" He shouted, peeping round the doorframe to see where his daughter was.

We walked into the living room as Delilah clumsily hurried into the living room causing her to spill the cold drink over her white t-shirt, my eyes were more drawn to her features. She had aged so beautifully, her dark raven hair, her beautiful tanned skin, her cute upturned nose, her gorgeous plump lips, her crystal blue orbs and her face had sprinkles of light freckles.

"Oh god! Sorry I'll just clean up." She giggled, wiping the damp shirt with her hand.

My eyes moved towards the damp shirt, her toned belly and her burgundy red laced bra was on show for me. I bit my lip as I felt blood rushing to my cheeks, God she was gorgeous!

Soon as she left the room my attention was drawn back onto what her father was saying, but even then my mind kept replaying that teasing moment. Eventually, Delilah walked back into the room with a dry shirt, she sat across from me and her father.

"Sorry about that." She smiled, swinging her legs over the armrest of the chair.

"It's wonderful to see you, Mr. Harrison." She said, her cheeks turning a slight rose colour.

"It's nice to see you too, you're all grown up!" I joked, earning a giggle from her.

"I've started playing guitar, Mr. Harrison." She cooed, her voice like liquid gold.

I coughed awkwardly and rubbed my neck. Christ what was she doing to me?

"Deli, maybe you should show Mr. Harrison." Her father suggested, smiling at his daughter.

She jumped up and held her hand out.

"Sure! Come on, Mr. Harrison." She smiled innocently, as I took her hand in mine and she rushed me up the stairs.

We reached the end of the hallway and she opened the door into her room, I slowly walked in trying to take everything in I was seeing. Her walls were painted a light shade of grey, her was were full of records and pictures. The picture were of Elvis and of course The Beatles but especially pictures of me, without me even realising she caught me gawking and began to laugh.

"You like my room, Mr. Harrison?" She asked, smirking at me.

Christ living next door was going to be torture, I noticed that her side window faced the window to my room. I gulped at my imagination running wild.

"It's very nice, Delilah." I smiled, trying not to be too obvious with my affection.

"Here is the guitar... but there is a chord I'm struggling with, would you help me?" She asked, batting her pretty long lashes.

"Um, y-yeah." I hesitated, mentally smacking myself.

She plopped herself on her bed with her light grey guitar at hand, she placed it on her lap and strummed a few tunes for me. Watching her soft delicate fingers strum the strings was mesmerising, I watched in awe as she play so well I thought she was lying when she said she was just learning.

Then she hits the chord she couldn't do and I watched her face grimace as the guitar made a unusual tune.

"This one..." she said, gesturing at the fingers holding the strings.

I walked over to her and placed myself behind her, I could feel the heat of her body against mine. She wiggled a little causing me to bite my lip to suppress a moan, I placed my large hands over hers as I guided her what to do. She smiled when she was eventually able to play the chord, she turned her head to look at me.

"Thank you, Mr. Harrison..." she breathed, looking into my eyes with her blue ones.

I could feel my head being drawn to hers, our breaths heating each other's faces. Our lips brushed past one another, I felt the hairs on my body stand as her soft plump lips brushed past mine, unfortunately it doesn't turn into a kiss as I instantly pull back realising what I was doing.

"Shit... I have to go!" I panicked, quickly standing up and heading to the door.

"Mr. Harris-" she called, but I had already left and headed out the front door before she finished.

{Delilah's POV}

"Fuck!" I hissed, placing my head in my hands

I heard my dad coming up the stair, I quickly brushed myself off and placed my guitar away trying not to look suspicious.

"Deli... where's George?" He asked, looking around my room.

"He had to go." I blurted, hoping he wouldn't press any further.

Thankfully he believed me and left my room, I can't believe I nearly bloody kissed him! God the slight touch of his sweet soft lips sent a tingling sensation all over my body, I placed my fingertips on my lips to feel the where his lips brushed mine.

I rushed down the stairs and into the kitchen where my father was cooking tea.

"Dad, what's Mr. Harrison's number?" I asked, trying to look innocent.

"It's on the board, Sweet." He said, pointing to the paper hanging on the cork board.

I type his number into my contacts and headed straight back upstairs, I hoped I hadn't scared him off and prayed he would answer my text.

Me: Hi Mr. Harrison, I'm sorry about what just happened and I hope it doesn't make it awkward between us - Delilah.

I twiddled my fingers anxious for a reply, it wasn't long before my phone buzzed.

Mr. H: Hi Delilah, what I did was completely inappropriate and shouldn't have happened. I think it's best for the both of us if I keep my distance, for your sake more than mine - George.

My hands trembled as I read the message over and over, I felt a little tear roll down my cheek. All these years he had finally come back to see us and now he's gone again, I heard my father walking up the stairs so I quickly wiped my tears and placed my phone under my pillow.

"Tea is ready, Sweet." He smiled, popping his head round the corner.

"Coming now." I replied, getting off my bed and heading into the kitchen to eat.

After tea I headed upstairs into my bathroom to get a hot shower, I walking in and turned the handle for the shower. I let it run hot before getting into it, I groaned as the water cascaded over my body. I washed my hair and tried to relax and forget about it what happened, I headed back into my room and sat on the window that out looked into George's.

I saw him sat on the bed with his head in his hands, my heart broke watching him look so distressed. I was so transfixed on him that I didn't realise he had noticed me watching, he quickly walked to his window and slammed the curtains shut.

I sighed and turned to my bed, I climbed into it and pulled the covers over me. We see George after 10 years and I go and ruin it by letting my feelings get in the way, it wasn't fair on him and it wasn't fair on my father. My mind drifted to all the memories of George looking after me when I was younger, he would play in the garden and colour with me, he taught me how to garden and ride a bike and when it came to nap time we'd both nap together on the sofa while my father was busy working so many jobs to make ends meet.

As I grew up I fell in love with him, his caring and gentle manner hooked me in with his gorgeous looks and beautiful baritone voice that was rich with gold and music to my ears. I daydreamed about him all the time and what his lips would feel like and the touch of his hot skin against mine, I felt my cheeks turn red and my body tingle just at the thought.

However, it didn't take long before I fell asleep hoping I could try and fix what had been broken so quickly. This was something I would have to resolve before my father worked out.
