It started with a dream. A Scepter, built of a raven black metal that reflected the beautiful light of purple cristal at the top. I had this dream quite often after I left my home to work abroad but I never thought anything of it. The dream had no detail.. it was only the scepter, it felt like it was calling out to me but every time I reached for it I would wake up. People say dreams are gateways to your inner self. That they are your subconscious trying to speak to you… well I think my subconscious should cut the shit and explain to me what's going on. As a little girl I dreamed of growing up with a husband, a few pets, some kids, and a happy little life in a peaceful suburban home. Even the simplest of plans for the future can go down the drain though. Things aren't as simple as I wished they could be. Humans go through life in the shadows, denying reality so strongly that they become blind to the world amongst their own. The secrets that are masked behind the inherited disbelief of humanity. Well most of it anyway. Some of us just aren't that lucky.
