Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"It's you! I'm sorry I bumped into you this morning. I was running late." She looked down in embarrassment, and Leo smiled and held her head up. "It's ok. I was running late too. Maybe it was fate for us to meet, Sienna." He stared right into her eyes, causing her to blush and turning her face into a tomato.

He smiles, "You have really pretty eyes, you know." Sienna turned away, blushing even more intensely than before. "Th-thank you. I-I don't get m-man-many uhh compliments." She stuttered out, trying not to make eye contact. "Dude, stop it. You're gonna kill her. It's ok. He does this a lot." A new voice spoke to the now trembling girl.

As she looked up, she saw the face from which the new voice came. He had sky blue eyes, and short ruffled blonde hair. Almost a golden color. "I'm Andrew. Nice to meet you." He smiled and held out a hand. "I'm Sienna. Nice to meet you too." She still had a little blush on her face, but it wasn't as intense as before.

"You're new to town, aren't you? I don't think I've seen you around here before." He tilted his head in confusion. Sienna nodded her head, and handed both of the boys a piece of paper. As they looked at it, they saw that it had her number. "Text me whenever. Just tell me who you are when you do so I can create a contact." Sienna smiled and just like that, the bell rang that signified the end of class.

She stood up, grabbed her bag and walked out of the class along with everyone else. She walked to her next and last class of the day, history. She sits down at a desk near the window, and feels a buzz from her phone. 'Hey, It's Leo from math. Just want to make sure you gave me and Andy the right number.'

She smiles and responds, 'Yeah, I did. This is Sienna. Here's a pic to prove it. [1 image]' She puts her phone away as the teacher starts talking. "You will need these signed by tomorrow. They are field trip forms, even though it is early in the year. He passes out the forms and sits back at his desk. "That is all for today. Talk amongst yourselves. And just enjoy the rest of your time here." He pulls out his phone and starts doing something. Sienna pulls out her phone and headphones, and listens to music as she texts Leo. 'Hey, I'm bored in class. The teacher was very chill the first day.'

'Lucky, our teacher is very strict. She's only letting us have our phones out today. After today, she'll take them away if she sees them, so challenge accepted! *smiley face*'

Sienna smiles and continues typing. 'I'm so sorry. My teacher doesn't do tests either. He's probs the best teacher I've ever had. And I've had a lot.'

They continue typing back and forth throughout the period. By the end of the day, Sienna had felt this feeling of warmth in her chest. She shrugged it off, and grabbed her things right as the bell rang.

She met with Leo and Andy outside the building, "Hey! Guys, I didn't realize how far away my last class is from the front door. Should we start walking?" She had a child-like wonder as she spoke, and her eyes lit up with excitement about having friends.

"Sure." Andy smiled at her, but Leo had a sad look on his face. "Sorry, guys. I have to ride home with my sister. I won't ever be able to walk with you guys." He looked away in shame.

"Dude, it's fine. We can catch up at school." Andy playfully punched him in the arm, as Sienna smiled with agreement. They all waved their goodbyes, and walked off. Andy and Sienna walked off and Leo went over to his sister's car.
