Toothbrush : Check!
Underwear : Check!
Phone : Chikidy-check!
Favourite hoodie : Chec- Where is it?
I turn my wardrobe upside down looking for that hoodie. I had to find it. That hoodie is my soulmate.
"Tasha! Tasha!" I call out for my roommate.
"What?"
"Have you seen my favourite hoodie?"
"Which one?"
"You know which one! You know. The grey one with the skull and-"
"Wait, you mean the one you're wearing right now?"
I looked down at it and blushed red. It was the one.
"Oh Tasha, this job is driving me nuts."
"How long did you say you were leaving for again? She asked pulling me into a tight embrace.
"Eight weeks." I barely managed to say. Tasha was hugging the life out of me.
"Oh Cam, you what this means, right?"
"Yeah, yeah. You'll miss me. Blah...blah...blah."
"No. It means party time. You won't be here to cramp our style anymore!"
"How touching." I said with sarcasm drowning my voice.
"You cannot leave soon enough." She said dragging my suitcase to the door.
"Hey guys, Cam is finally leaving!" My lovely roommate Darren shouted with his friends following behind him.
"Good. I knew there was a god." Ash, one of Darrens friends said.
"Darren, bring out the alcohol. This calls for a celebration." Tasha rejoiced.
Alcohol was brought out.
Music boomed from the speakers.
Celebrate good times,
C'mon!
My nightmare began manifesting itself before my eyes.
"What are you still doing here, girl? You don't wanna miss your flight do you?"
She pushed me and my suitcase out the apartment. Before I could even reply she closed the door right in face.
It's nice to know that I'll be missed.

All four of us met at the airport.
I still wasn't really happy travelling on a short notice but at least I know that I'd be travelling first class due to his status.
While we were checking in, a few fans spotted Shawn. I could tell that he enjoyed interacting with them.
At least he wasn't stuck up like most celebrities who look down at people who gave them their success.
But after a while, I noticed that there was less air to breathe.
More fans drew closer and he didn't seem to mind. Nobody did anything. Hank, Ms Salem, I bet they were used to the attention.
To be honest, I just needed some space. I'm not used to this having this much attention, unlike them.
Ms Salem finally broke and told us to move away. She told us to wait at our gate.
We did. And it was super-boring.
I don't know why we arrived so early. But it would all be worth it when I sit in a huge comfy sit up in first class while watching a movie.
But for now, we wait.
I try falling asleep while standing up.
FYI - It didn't work.
So I just folded my arms and looked straight ahead.
"Hey." Shawn greeted with his arms crossed and eyes fixed forward. I somewhat felt as though he was mimicking me.
"Hi." I replied before awkward silence followed.
"What's your name?"
"Cameroon. But everyone call me Cam. Yours?"
"Mine? I think you're smart enough to figure that on your own."
"What? I was trying to make small talk."
"Then I guess that you make small talk the same way you walk - Horribly."
I gasped dramatically. "I'll have you know that I've been walking for nearly two decades of my-"
"Shh." Ms Salem aggressively shushed. "Let's go. The gate is open."
We got in and I looked down at my body pass. It said 14E.
It must be some mistake.
"Um, I think there's some mistake with this?" I said to Ms Salem.
"Yes?"
"It says 14E."
"Yes?"
"This is not first class."
"Exactly." She said and dismissed me immediately, dancing her way to first class.
I look at the seat 14E. I'm flying alongside two hyperactive toddlers.
Great.

"Wow. You look horrible." Shawn examined as we got out of the plane.
"You think?" I said in a duh tone. "I just wanna go to the hotel and hibernate."
"In summer?" Hank questioned, combing his hand through what's left of his blonde hair.
"I'm not an animal. I'll sleep when I want to."
"Technically, you have to be an animal to hibernate." Shawn argued.
"You know what I mean!" I shouted, my futige overpowering me. "I doubt I'll even get to sleep in a hotel. Who knows where I'll end up. A one dollar motel, behind an alley. I don't know, you tell me."
"Mhm, she's grumpy too." He said right before Malificent marched in.

The ride around L.A would have been amazing if I wasn't so tired.
All I could think about when I looked at the clouds dancing over the sea of skyscrapers was how comfortable they would be as beds.
I was in one of the greatest place in the world. That should do something to me because I've never been out of New Jersey my whole life.
Well, apart from the time I went to Canada - But that was the only time I left.
After a while in the car, I finally managed to get comfortable enough to fall asleep.
But five minutes into my dream, we arrived.
Wonerful.
I was suddenly stunned by the beauty of the building. It was a building beautiful enough to shake me awake.
I nearly tripped over trying to count the rows it had. But I had to watch myself, I couldn't risk falling in front of Shawn Mendes again.
The hotel happened to be a five-star, beachside hotel.
Don't get to excited, Malificent will probably keep you in a crate. I warned myself.
We checked in and Malificent handed me my keys. I noticed that she was a little quiet this afternoon. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
We all ended up on the same floor, diffrent rooms is all.
"Chesterfield." Ms Salem called.
"Yes?"
"Dinner at ten in the main lounge. It's just a small gathering for all the employees, okay?"
"Okay." I said unlocking the door. Her tone was odd. She sounded a little down and not her usual menacing demeanour.
My queries vanished immediately the door opened, I was in a small heaven.
This place was amazing. After that flight, I was expecting something horrible. But this was just...super.
The lounge, the bathroom. Even the hallway was enough to shelter a family of royalty.
But the highlight if this room was: the bed!
16:30. The clock read.
That gives me more than enough time to recharge my batteries on this big, white, soft, fluffy, comfortable bed...
