Description: This is the standard handgun given to commissioned officers and commanding officers from the platoon level upwards. The .45 caliber bullet is given the name Roba (Donkey) by most officers as they said that firing it haphazardly or too firmly kicks their wrists like a donkey's kick. No regular personnel are issued with this gun, making it a status symbol for those who was found eligible and passed the officer school. So, if you pass by someone who has a handgun holster on his waist, step to the side and give the fine gentleman a salute.
Extra tip: There are rumors that the reason why officers are given these guns that has inferior range and damage over distances is because they are meant for closer targets who include: disobedient soldiers, deserters during combat, overruling soldiers and enemy spies.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Description: The standard rifle issued to every enlisted man in the army. It is described by soldiers with the words: "It's like a tsundere, it will do what you want it to do, but it will also hurt you a little." There are a lot of confusion about what the word "Tsundere" means, but it might have come from the fact that its bullet, nicknamed Nouma (Horse), causes a strong recoil and reloading it in the wrong way would cause you to injure or even break your thumb which caused its clip to be named Hitokuchi (Bite).
Extra tip: Always listen to the distinctive "Ping!" sound of the gun which will tell you if it ran out of bullets and in need of reloading. Another tip wound be something that was randomly done by an unknown trainee when he placed the rifle on his hip and pulled the gun forward in a way where the recoil was used repeatedly pull the trigger back and forth to rapidly fire the gun. This, however, isn't advised by instructors as it wastes valuable ammunition.

Description: First of all, if you are placed in the Mechanic Firearms division, you should thank your parents who makes you eat meat as it means you have high scores in the physical exams. With that out of the way, the description for this firearm has been edited to protect its composition, but the gist of it is that this is the only gun in the world that can shoot so fast that it is placed in tactics as an anti-cavalry and personnel weapon. This gun is quite heavy and not advisable to be fired without its tripod. It is commonly seen at every 30 meters in a trench or at the walls of fortresses and castles.
Extra tip: As you'll be working around this gun in 3-man teams. Make the effort of building a strong relationship with your buddies by switching places with what you are lifting in a march. The tripod is the light component while the bullet boxes and heavy and the gun itself are the heaviest. Switch what you're lifting to ease up your other buddies and let them rest their backs a little.

Description: First of all, congratulations for passing the academic examination to enter the Artillery Corps. The description of this as simple as it's place in the battle tactics of the army which is "Forward Artillery". This cannon is placed just a trench away from the front lines because of its smaller and shorter-ranged ammunition. It is, however, not any lethal than its larger cousin. The origin of calling it the Sakana cannon is because the first platoon that was taught to operate it ate fish in their entire training in the belief that it can strengthen their arms to manually lift the 30mm shells it is using. The "Shibuki" term for its shell was a joke about how the artillery officer would know that his men haven't planted the land spike properly when the ground under the cannon splashes out like a fish kicks up the water.
Extra tip: The war kitchen of the land army is instructed that during deployment, the artillery corps will be given a bit more meat in their food as long as they can tell the chef's secret code for that day. The chef will not tell anyone about it, but rather, spread a riddle whose answer is the secret code. Many non-artillery corps soldiers tried to trick their respective chefs, but instead of meat, they will be given a random fruit that can range from the tasty apricot to the simple berries.

Rakurai Artillery

Weight: 1,400 kg

Action: Breech loading (horizontal block)
Fire rate: 7 rounds/min
Velocity: 400 m/s

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Description: If you are reading this, you must've been a noble's child or an especially gifted person for being able to find and answer the secret question in the academic test. The Rakurai artillery is a long-range support howitzer from the Artillery corps. They operate from the rearmost positions of the battlefield with their muzzles usually pointing to the sky and hurling metal shells whose destructiveness can rival the thunderbolts of the heavens. There is a reason why the largest cannons of the army require the most brilliant of minds. After being accepted into the corps, those that will operate the Rakurai artillery has to go through a specialized training course where they have to learn advanced mathematical and physics equations that can ensure that they are capable enough to effectively use the artilleries.
Extra tip: Make sure to keep your ear mufflers tightly snuck around your ear as the Rakurai artillery is notorious for being really loud once it is fired. Also, if you are the one instructed to set the timer for the airburst shells, add 3 more seconds to the one told to you by the rangefinder just to make sure that it won't explode prematurely.

A2 Usagi
Produced by: Nagisa Tools production.
Description: The main issued entrenchment tool in the army. It's a shovel with a short handle that can ensure the right amount of grip when you are instructed to dig a trench. When it is sufficiently cleaned, it can also be used as a frying pan or a stovetop for brewing some tea. Most officers won't be forcing you to do it, but some would want you to sharpen its edges so it can be used like an axe or short spear if hand-to-hand combat is imminent.
Extra tip: This shovel is the only tool that you do not have to return to the armory after the battle is finished. The army doesn't see the need to return such a useful and common tool, so many off-duty soldiers can be seen bringing this around on their backs or waists as a habit or instinct from training.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
A4 Kusa
Produced by: Nagisa Tools production.
Description: The main issued blade in the army. This 8-inch knife is mainly used as a multi-purpose tool for cooking food in a platoon level or for cutting up hunted animals during a deployment. In battle though, it can be attached to the end of a Seiryuu rifle as a bayonet which is a substitute for a spear.
Extra tip: There is always that one guy in your platoon that really likes knives for some reason. Don't antagonize him though, with his obsession with blades, he would usually have the best whetstone for sharpening your knife and shovel.
