"He's going to be running a bit late." Stated Larkspur, formally dressed in a midnight blue suit, as he stepped into the lounge.
"How late?" Asked Lempio as he set his glass of gin down onto the table.
The horned man sighed as he approached the couch, "I'm not sure. It's been nearly an hour since he was supposed to arrive."
"Who?" Asked Mairey, holding a candy red, fruity beverage in her hand, "Who's coming to visit?"
Larkspur paused for a moment as he peered over to her, "You don't know?"
The elvish woman shook her head, "No, I don't."
He then looked over at the blue man, sitting in front of him, "You haven't told her yet?"
"I'm sorry, dear. I wasn't entirely sure if she was ready for the news just yet. She hasn't even been with us for a whole day and she already has to meet another member of the royal family."
