"So what do you wanna do now?" Asked Mairey as she walked alongside Griff.
"Huh?" He looked down at her, while holding onto her hand, "But we just finished our date. What could we possibly do now?" He sounded a bit confused.
"Don't you want to do something nice with me? Like, you know, go see a movie or go get some drinks?" Suggested Mairey with a smile.
"Uh…" The man scratched his head while his hands were still covered in food stains, "I'm not sure if I can. Well, I can't tonight."
"You can't or you won't?" Her smile faded as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"I can't," said Griff, sounding a bit annoyed, "I have work in the morning and I can't stay up too late."
"Oh," she looked down and sighed, "I understand."
"But if you want," he put his hand on her back, in between her shoulder blades, "You can stay the night at my place. We can go at it for a few rounds if you want to spend more time with me." He grinned.
