It was late in the evening when they finished dining and chatting about school and everything. They had a lot to catch up on, especially as Kalli would be going to a retreat for witches.
It had given Zane an idea of how to disappear for a week when he would be at the Grey's house, A retreat. It was perfect.
"Bubblegum ice cream, I will take that one." Cassandra said happily as she took out her card, "This time I am paying. Go wild."
"Go wild with ice cream," Kalli muttered quietly, her red eyes teasing.
Cassandra nudged her:" Just four hours with Zane and you have already learned his bad behavior."
Zane, who collected a bullet even when he had not done anything wrong, blinked. Him, bad behavior. He was a model citizen who had never done anything wrong.
"I will have a scoop of coffee ice cream with fudge, peanut butter, roasted almonds, and Oreo.'' The robot nodded and prepared his ice cream.
