I was walking to the bus stop with my grandma and with the other kids from my school. I remember how gloomy it was, the soil was moist due to rainfall and water driped from leaves falling on top of our rain coats as we walked along the side walk.
"Hey Ms.Foster!" Called one of the students.
"Yes?" My grandma replied as she searched through her purse.
"Why is alice always coming home with you?" the boy asked with a curious face.
"Oh she's my granddaughter honey didn't you already know?" she chuckled
"Yes i know that but why don't we ever see her parents with her?"
"Alice! You there?" Tira asked with a worried yet annoyed expression
"Oh- ya sorry about that I- It's nothing" I lied trying not to tear up.
"No alice! It's annoying bruh! Every 5 minutes you zone out and I'm kinda worried... Are you okay?" She asked
"Yes! I'm fine I'm just tired hehe I- I should stop staying up late gaming" I laughed
It's been like this for the past couple of days. I've been feeling nostalgic everytime I leave my house to do anything as simple as going to school.
I've been having daydreams everytime i remember a specific event or anything from some years ago.
I asked my friends what nostalgia felt like for them and they all said a bittersweet feeling and it makes them happy-
But for me it was the same. The feeling isn't a bittersweet one it's just bitter and depressing and i end up reliving the event that i remembered.
