I felt like someone was watching me,I opened my eyes and saw that grin I know I won't be forgetting anytime soon.
My big sister Eleanor was just inches away from my face,we stared at each other for what seems like fifteen seconds. Then she said "Good morning dork,mum said you should come down for breakfast".
I quickly threw my blanket off me...believe me nothing can get a fifteen year old boy up from the bed as fast as a promise for breakfast and the smell of pancakes.
"Last one down cleans the toilet this weekend" Norrie yelled.
She took off before I could even stand up I screamed no fair that she was already at the door but that didn't stop her. I went after her but the fool was already halfway down the stairs, I needed to do something drastic. I climbed the railing and jumped down and guess what... Mum and dad were at dining room which was next to the stairs. They just saw me pull off that stunt and they do not look happy at all.
"Sam what in the world did you do that for?" mom asked me with the angriest frown I've seen in a long time, dad looked like an angry tomato they kept telling me off, how what I did was completely risky and irresponsible yada yada yada, that was when I turned around and saw Norrie coming downstairs slowly like she had no idea what happened,I realized that I've been duped. I kept on staring at her while she acts all innocent.
Let me tell you about my family... Mum and dad have been together for twenty-ish years. My dad's name is Joseph Rennie,he is a lawyer and works at Neal Steven's law firm and recently got promoted, let me just tell you my dad is practically the world's best dad anytime he gets home early from work he would actually play some games with me and Norrie. He's the best husband that you can possibly imagine I mean he still takes mum on dates and when they both get back they'd be kissing and doing stuff like they are still horny teenagers in highschool...gross.
Moms' name is Sandra she owns a hospital which she named Rennies' after the family. So I guess you could say money doesn't stop flowing in the family which also means that we rarely see our parents so we are almost always on our own.Then there's Norrie. She's three years older than I am and she's the most annoying person you can ever meet,well she has times that she can literally be the sweetest thing in the world but those times are rare. But annoying or not I can tell you that I love my sister more than you can possibly imagine. And then there's me funny,good looking,super smart,protective... The list goes on and on but I don't think you would like to hear all that that.
When Norrie finally got downstairs I told her she's cleaning the toilet since I got down before her she just waved me off and said it was worth it to see me in trouble.
We all sat round the dining table and mom put the pancakes platter in the middle of the table and we helped ourselves we all had the pancakes with apple juice.
We were on summer break so after breakfast mum and dad bade us goodbye then said we should be nice to each other and try not to argue too much before they left for work...I guess you can say that me and Norrie are always arguing. Norrie and I just sat down and started watching TV.
One thing about me and Norrie is that we are fascinated by horror and occultic things, we just love horror movies and stories. That is where I really admire Norrie the most, she's not like all other girly girls that are terrified of horror movies. We once had friends for a sleepover and we watched scary movies all night when we were ready to sleep our guests were shaking and they all slept together while Norrie and I slept like babies. After that some of our friends started saying we were psychopaths and some of them actually started avoiding us. What exactly is so terrifying about horror and scary things that it can actually make someone lose sleep?, Well Norrie and I were about to find out.
