Liam was heading into the tailors in Darkwater as he was going to the Ball in a week. He enters the shop which he was greeted by the shop owner.
"Mr. Antrim? What brings you into my shop?" asked The Shop Owner.
"Well, I wondering if you could make me something for the Ball. I do not really have any fancy clothes," said Liam.
"Well, since it the week of, I do not know if I can. I'm probably the most busy during this time of the year," said The Shop Owner. "I do have some clothes from rejection from customers which I can sell for a discount."
"I guess I have to take that then," said Liam.
"The bin for it over in the corner over there," said The Shop Owner. He points to a bin full of old fancy dress clothes that were in bags. Liam heads over to bin and looks for it. Why he was looking for something Abigail enters the shop.
"Ah, Captain Whitman, your dress should be about done," said The Shop Owner.
"Great," said Abigail. She sees Liam looking through the bin.
"I should be out with it soon," said The Shop Owner. He goes back to his work area in the back.
"Liam?" asked Abigail. "What are you doing here?" Liam turns to her.
"Oh, Abby. I am trying to get an outfit for The Ball," said Liam.
"What? You plan to go to The Ball?" questioned Abigail.
"Yeah, Robert said I should live a little outside the ranch," said Liam. "I guess you are going to since you are here."
"Yes, as The Captain of the Darkwater WPA, I have to make appearances at social events to show The WPA is good organization," said Abigail. "Plus, I rather do something then go. I never like going to dances when I was younger but I had to since my father was a high rank official for the government. But I don't want to bore you with story about my dad when you have yours."
"I don't have that luxury sadly if I had say anything about my father then he a piece of trash," said Liam.
"Thats not nice to say," said Abigail.
"My father abused me when I was kid, I was born from a prostitute he slept with and she died during my birth and I was sent to live with him after my grandparents passed away when I was six. He was a big drunk and beat the crap out of me if I even looked at him wrong and one night I thought he was going to kill me and I had no choice," said Liam.
"What happened?" questioned Abigail.
"I killed him out of self defense," said Liam.
"I guess I have to say I'm sorry then," said Abigail.
"It's fine it not like it matters now to me," said Liam. Shop Owner comes back out with Abigail's dress in the Bag.
"It all ready," said The Shop Owner. Abigail thinks a bit.
"Hey, Liam?" asked Abigail.
"Yeah, what's up?" questioned Liam.
"You want to go to The Ball with me?" asked Abigail.
"Huh?" questioned Liam with confusion. The Shop Owner was also confused about that.
"Well, The Ball going to be mostly couples and since I do not know a lot of people around here. We can go as friends just so it not awkward for the both of us," said Abigail. Liam thinks of it for a bit.
"Alright, I do not see anything that can go wrong," said Liam.
"Great, well you better find something blue for something to wear so we match," said Abigail.
