Second period was definitely a bit awkward for both me and Wesley, a lot of Wesley's friends surrounded him and congratulated him for finally having a girlfriend, I was a bit surprised that he hadn't had a girlfriend yet, I mean he's definitely attractive I'm not going to lie. I could feel so many girls behind me just glaring at me, i never knew so many people had a crush on Wesley sheesh.
By the time lunch came the word between Wesley and I being a "couple" was spread around quickly, the only thing I was truly not looking forward to was how our friends were going to react, Wesley had his arm around my shoulder and we walked in a peaceful silence, it wasn't awkward or anything Wesley always had put his arm around me before in a friendly gesture so it was nothing new.
"So what do we tell Mia and Alex and all of them when they ask about us?" I asked, Wesley stood there for a moment trying to debate wether we tell them the truth or not, "I don't know, it could be a bit risky telling all of them though since it's so many people, it might accidentally slip out of them one day, but I would feel bad lying to them" he looks down, "I think it's best we keep to ourselves, at least for now" I say as I adjust my backpack onto my shoulder, it was starting to hurt from all the weight I was carrying from my books, "need me to get that from ya" I turned to face him but before I could respond he grabbed my bag and placed it over his free shoulder,
He look back down and smiled at me, "are you sure it's not to heavy" I say reaching to grab my bag back, he stops my hand and pushes it away "nah it's fine, plus I have to be a gentlemen to my girlfriend" he laughs and I laugh back.
"I have to stop by my locker to get something real quick, you can go ahead and walk in" I say as I start walking towards my locker, "are you sure I can wait for you" he says as he leans next to the locker next to me, "no, it's fine" I say as I start reaching for my bag again so he wouldn't have to deal with the weight anymore, once again he pushes my hand back "it's fine, I'll take it in and save you a spot" he smiles, I nod and and turn to look at my locker as he leaves.
Suddenly I hear footsteps behind me I just guessed that maybe Wesley forgot something I don't know,I see shadow towering over me and I turn around to see, Alyssa. "So, you and Wesley are dating now?" She asks with her hands on her hips and a suspicious tone in her voice "yep" I say sounding annoyed, "I thought I told you to stay away from him" she says "and I thought I told you no." I see her hands turn into fists as she glares at me, for second she pulls her hand back as if she were going to hit me, "do it, I dare you!" I say as I glare at her "do what" she says sounding as if she were challenging me, "hit me, go ahead, see what happens, remember I went to juvie specifically for fighting so I would watch out" I say in a stern tone as I'm still glaring at her."
She glares at me for a few seconds and releases her fists, at least she had a bit of common sense. I stand up and give her a fake smile as I start walking towards the cafeteria.
Once inside I start walking towards our usual table until I feel somebody grab my arm, I turn around to see Wesley, "why aren't you sitting down?" I ask "Well I knew that once I sat down they were going to start overloading me with questions so I just waited for you" he says as he hands me my bag and gives a nervous chuckle, "by the way you took a while, was everything okay?" He says and his face turned Into a worried look, "oh yeah I just ran into Alyssa on the way here" I say as I roll my eyes, "she didn't do anything to you right?" He asks and I can see a bit of anger in his eyes. "No she was just being you know typical Alyssa" I say as I laugh a bit, I can see his face relax and he nods.
we start making our way to our table, when we sit down everyone at the table was staring at us with a huge grin on their faces, "what?" Me and Wesley say in unison. "Soo you and wesley, that's new" Mia says with a bigger grin then she had before, I laugh nervously, "dude I knew you had a crush on her from the start" Rudy says as he smirks, Wesley looked as if he was about to protest but then remembered "umm yeah, yeah I liked her" he says rubbing his neck, I hear Mia and Alex squel and I laugh as I look down, suddenly We see Alyssa walking over to us and we all roll our eyes, here it comes.
"Soo guys, I just came to say congratulations on your new relationship" she says with big fake smile, "thanks" Wesley says as he wraps his arm around my shoulder, I can hear Mia and Alex giggling in the background.
I see Alyssa's body tensen and I grin. "But you know if you're REALLY dating, you wouldn't mind kissing for us would you?" Alyssa says with an evil grin, I could feel my face turning red and I looked at Wesley, he turned look at me as well with the same expression on his face.
"Oh come on Alyssa they're a new couple you can't expect them to kiss right away" I hear Alex saying, my body relaxes.
"Well I mean they've known each other for a while, how do you know they haven't kissed before? so it won't be any different if they do it in front of us"she says still holding her grin , I turn back to look at Wesley and he does the same.
suddenly I see him grin a bit and shrug his shoulders, before I could react I felt his soft lips touching mine, he gently kissed me and before I could even process what was happening my body started kissing him back, we kissed for a few seconds before he pulled away and put his arm back around my shoulder we turned back to face everyone and I could see the whole group with their eyes wide and mouths open, Alyssa on the other hand looked like she was about to kill me. "Happy?" Wesley says as he smiles.
If looks could kill I'd definitely be dead.
