The skies were obscured from sight, and its absence, thick whorls of dark clouds casted their darkness over the lands. In its wake, the restless seas erupted unruly waves against the rocky, coast edge. With the rapid rising sea levels caused by the heavy downpour, it would only be a matter of a few minutes before the city would be completely destroyed. The violent winds had already reigned its destruction, and many of the port's weakest structures crumbled from its force. Several bolts of lightning struck the rooftops that were made from terracotta slates had shattered into pieces.
