~Bootstrap Paradox 1~

Doctor Ray was a remarkable worthy scientist of his time, but with old age, everyone retires one day, and so our beloved Doctor also retired. He was a scientist but was called Doc by many acquaintances. It was the year 2050 when he took his retirement at the age of 60. And it has been 5 years since Doc's retirement.

Looking outside his house's window Doc wondered to himself, "How composed and luminous summers were back in my time. Now it's always unlit and gloomy during the days too."

"Doc your pension has arrived" informed Betty. The only relative Doc had left.

"I appreciate it" Said Doc.

"Well, you're a renowned Scientist Doc, They won't let go of you so easily. They still adore you" said Betty.

"Oh no Betty, you're getting it wrong. They won't be nice to you if they don't have contrivances for you" Doc replied.

"You think peculiar, and that makes you different." Said Betty while going to her bedroom.

"They would just consume us till we exhaust and give up on life" said Doc to himself in a soft tone realising Betty had gone.

His whole life Doc only worked on a single project, The Time Machine but never succeeded in making one.

"How engaging it would be if I could directly contact my future self and ask him to give me a time machine which I could present simply in my timeline." Wondered Doctor while moving towards the window.

After staring outside the window at the indecent nature for a few seconds, suddenly a thought aroused in Doc's mind.

In a second he was overwhelmed by the sudden keen concept that his mind developed.

"I should mail my future self!" Doc revealed his concept through his words.

And in a bustle he rushed towards his Computer and searched the web - "Mail your future self dot com"

And then rushed towards Betty's Room to inform her about the fascinating idea he got.

"Are you serious Doc? It just works as a reminder. Once the date comes the mail would just be reverted back to you." said Betty showing no appeal to what Doc said.

"But till that time in the next 25 years Time Machine would be present. And once I get this email at that time, I would travel back to here and give myself the blueprint of the machine and would teach myself how to create one!" said Doc lively.

"So let's wait untill your future self arrives" Said Betty mockingly while moving towards her bed.

"I will come and will show the right path to my younger self and I'm sure about it" said Doc in a low tone realising Betty doesn't care much.

Night falls and the City looks more uncouth because of all the cude nature that has been ruined in the part years.

It was pitch black and Doc was sleeping when a soft voice of an Old man woke Doc up.

"I came Doc, I have brought the things you told me to bring too" said the Old Man.

Doc realised in an instant that it was no one other than his own older self who received Doc's mail and had came from the future with the concept and blueprint of the Time Machine.

"One night my future self came to me and showed me how to make and use this machine and he gave me this blueprint which now I hand over to you thereby completing my job." Said Older Doc.

Younger Doc nodded and then they spent whole night with Older Doc teaching Younger Doc the conception of the Time Machine and the blueprint so perfect that Younger Doc made his own Time Machine with the help of Older Doc and by morning the Vital Grand Time Machine was ready which could help mankind to go back to time and reset their mistakes which would result in a better future than what they are living in.

"Remember, one day you'll receive a mail too from your Younger self asking you to teach him about the machine. At that time you should use the machine and repeat the same things that I did here today and ask him to teach his younger self inorder to make the cycle go on and so that the pieces fit perfectly every time." Said Older Doc intelligibly.

"So who created the machine initially?" Younger Doc interrogated.

"No one created it. It's a result of a Bootstrap Paradox like many other things which we know and do not know, but all the credit will go to you. As it came to me when I was you!" Explained Older Doc while moving to his machine gradually in which he came.

"So will we succeed in resetting our mistakes in order to create a better future?" Asked Older Doc.

"You'll will try, and try your best! But remember, No one controls the destiny of time but time itself" said Older Doc while pressing a button on his machine thereby activating it to return back to his time.

And there he vanished in a moment after gifting Mankind their greatest invention of all time.
