After nearly what seemed like forever, the air hostess came with our meals. And I love food, like who doesn't?
I love meat whereas Beth is a vegetarian like ..how.....how???How can someone avoid the yummy non-veg burgers and pizzas? It's still a mystery for me but I respect her choices.
Luckily I got my food first moreover I wanted to devour it as quick as possible. As soon as I opened the foil, I could smell the mouth-watering aroma of masalas and the hot vapour hitting my face which made me more hungry than I already was.
"Here I come" I said and took the first bite
"Mmmmmmm...yummy!!" I moaned
"Hmmmm....dummy" remarked Beth
"Your tastebuds must probably be dead else how can someone not try such a mouth-watering dish" I teased her and smirked.
She hit me slightly and I winced. I continued to focus on my food tho.Beth's food also arrived shortly.Both of us completed our food in the blink of an eye.
It was wonderful and owning to the fact that we were hungry made it even tastier.
We both planned to see a movie together, like how useless is a flight trip if you don't watch movies ?? We decided to watch TWILIGHT as it was and will be the movie I watch whenever I feel like chilling.
I used to love the movie including it's plot during high school but now I love the movie because it reminds me of all the good times I had while watching it... Speaking about Edward nonstop to my friends... Getting all excited to see his pictures...Checking the clock now and then to see whether it is the time when twilight will be broadcasted in Television... Etc... Now I love the movie not just for its plot ...the actors... And all... Now I love the movie because of the memories it helped me create.
We watched the entire movie even though we have watched it plenty of times before. And as usual I loved it. As cliche it may be , Twilight will always be a feel-good film for me.
"What do we do now ??" Beth asked as we just completed watching the movie.
She can't stay idle for a few minutes.
"Shall we surf something about the university we are going to be admitted??" I suggested
She nodded.
I took my phone out of my pocket, Opened google and searched for the University of Lujo.
We have already seen the university virtually but we wanted to know more about it now cause we are admitted there and we don't want to be bullied and treated as outcasts.
"Lujo means luxury it seems" I spoke
"Exactly what we lack, Ro" beth said with a chuckle
Well, she isn't wrong.
(Beth calls me Ro because of my second name Rora )
"Dude we are going to be thrashed" I said with a puppet face
"What the hell is wrong??" she asked with a doubtful look.
"Look at the students of Lujo, they look like freaking models ...and look at us ....we look like women who have given birth to 2 children" I said with a giggle.
Beth had a little grin in her face.
"Is this some kind of drama with an ugly heroine and all Barbies around her?? Dude think it over, if that is the case the heroes fall for us" Beth said with a immense grin.
"Finally we can expect Cupid to do his job in our love life" she said and sighed.
"Firstly life is not a movie or a drama and fantasy stuff like this occurs only in movies... Beth your brain is so corrupted" I said with a grin.
"And even if someone likes me... Which is not at all likely. I am not interested, you know...I don't like it boo" I added
"Life is fantastic... make it romantic" Beth whispered earning a disgusted look from me.
"Well you should learn to ....because I as your best friend want you to have some romance in your life so that I can make fun of you...see you blush ...etc...etc" she added with a huge grin.
"Stop grinning idiot" I said and hit her on her arm slightly.
"Same applies to you, both of us are single Pringles "I reminded her. She just nodded.
Then we talked about random stuff and at one point both of us broke into fits of laughter and laughed until tears flowed through our eyes.
Maybe the joke was not that funny but I gotta say when you are with a friend the laugh is contagious.
I and Beth are no exceptions.
We were laughing about nothing.
Just to make things clear Beth and I have no exes which mean we have not dated anybody still.
Yes....18 and single!
A few moments later
"Oofff....offff .....god please save my life " said a panicked Beth as she tightened her grip in my hand
The plane was gonna land nothing serious.
"Calm down someone is gonna think that you are giving birth....its just a plane landing kiddo " I said with a smirk.
Beth is scared of planes well I am the polar opposite I love planes and travelling probably because I spent the past teenage years of mine at home...no traveling....no parties...nothing fun.
Maybe the next part of my life holds something fun.
Well the plane finally landed and then we had to make a move out of our seat.
Beth was still kinda in her own scary world looking like a lost puppy.
"I feel dizzy" she said
"Well we don't have a Romeo to carry to in his arms ma'am " i said with a chuckle trying my best to distract her so that she will feel better.She hit me slightly with her arms .
After taking my hand luggage and helping beth take hers, we made our way out of the plane. It was really dark.
I looked at my watch and learned that we have landed at 10:00 pm .
2 hours later
After the checking and all the other airport formalities we finally made it out of the airport.
We got milkshakes and some sandwiches cause we were hungry.
Beth was feeling much better and so was my stomach. We had a lot of luggages to carry and I am a heavy packer.
"It feels super heavy.....shit....I guess the bag is just gonna explode " remarked Beth while dropping her luggage with a thud.
"Guess who told you to follow the you tube tutorial to pack efficiently?Me and guess who was not ready to listen? You" I said sarcastically.
"Bitch stfu" Beth said with a chuckle.
"You hate the fact that I am right bruh" I said and shrugged.
Beth put out her tongue as a reply.
"OK jokes apart, We shall just wait here...I was informed that they would send us someone to pick us up" I added.
Beth nodded and felt relieved.
Like I have mentioned before the university we are going to be admitted is an enormous one and they were kind enough to send us a car and a guide to take us to the university after all we are just teenagers.
