Chapter 4 - Tired...

Kim Seojun's POV

"Annyeonghasseo, may I see Lee Jin-Ae for a while?" I spoke softly in a tone. I knocked on the door and bent my back onto it while crossing both my arms. As I took a glimpse, I somehow dazzled the girls there except for one- Jin-Ae.

Her head was facing towards the thick paged textbook with focus. It was as if she was enchanted by it. Blue linen pen writing was scribbled all over the pages, giving colour to the pages that were filled with boredom. Carefully picking up important notes and information, she wrote it down in her notebook. Nerd.

"Ms Lee, you may be excused," announced a teacher. His hair was brown and scruffy. His face was wrinkled and had bits of beard here and there, making his appearance in his mid-40s. Or probably he used to be a professor and wasted his life here.

"Ah, me?" She asked as she pointed her finger. Pfft- cute.

I walked towards her direction and grabbed her by the arm. Her notes scurried all over her desk and so were her stationaries.

Eyes glanced towards us, giving her a despised look. To act professional, I walked calmly showing no emotions while dragging her along.

"B-but Seojun, my things. Slow down a bit, will you?" she complained.

I brought her outside of class and released her hands. I looked down and saw her fussy look. Her brows were high knitted, and her lips were scrounged tightly. Aside from that, her whole face was red. She was acting as if she was still a child. How childish.

Even though her face was fussed up, I couldn't ignore her beauty. Without any modern art, her face mirrored it. Long black curls, pale white face, thick lush red lips, perfect girlfriend material; Perhaps a nougat of gold that would be craved by men. Not unless she's mine first…

I snapped out.

"Seojun, it's in the middle of my History class, please hurry up!" she exclaimed as she was rubbing her hands together.

"You are interested in History? Nerd!" I joked.

"Says the one who failed his exams!" she added. I licked my lips. Feisty…

"I'll tell you what, I'll study if you go out with me…now," I told her.

Her face was annoyed a bit; She was looking from one side to another while mumbling under her breath.

"F-fine! But I have to tell Ha Joon about this or else- "I placed my finger on her lips. How dare she talks about another man when she's with me!

Interesting… How close did Ha Joon get close to her? And why do I feel a little bit annoyed?

"Nope, unacceptable! Besides, you agreed. This means you follow what I say, okay?" I winked at her.

"Hop on," I said as I sat on my bicycle. I then clipped on my helmet.

"Why can't we walk? It isn't fair, right?" She complained again! Looks like someone hasn't learned how to ride a bike.

"Look, just hold onto my waist. I promise you that we won't fall." I said as I looked right at her.

Carefully stepping one foot and another, she parked her but comfortably behind me. How afraid she looked. It makes me want to laugh at her cutely.

"Alright, here we go!" I said as I pushed my feet from the ground, balancing myself.

"Ack, slow down! We're going to get killed! Seojun!" She screamed from behind. Her soft delicate fingers were firmly holding my waist. What is this warm feeling?

I turned my head around and saw that her hair was flying around, dancing around with the wind. The shirt that she loosened, puffed as if it was going to float her up. And me, grasping onto this moment.

We finally reached the café: HoneyB. I took off my helmet and parked my bike. As I unbuckled my helmet, I could hear the 'whooshing' of the wind playing with my ears.

I lifted my head and saw the leaves falling. With the help of the wind, it invited them to play along. It was stunning. I closed both my eyes and inhaled now.

'Live' that was the word that came to mind.

"Seojun, help me." She cried out. This girl here is trouble.

The wind blew faster; She looked at me. The beautiful scenery and her face are just…perfect. Her hair highlighted the sunlight, giving it a colour of chestnut and her pearled eyes glittered like 'The Heart of The Ocean'.

I gave her my hand said, "For the aleumdaun sonyeo~"

Instead of slowly going down, she hugged onto my chest. No, she jumped onto me. I lost balance and fell on my back; I could feel the hard thud on my shoulders. Nevertheless, she was still clinging on. This girl is afraid of height, is she?

"Did we die yet?" she shrieked while shutting her eyes closed.

My giggling escaped my lips and I burst out with laughter. I tried to hide it while covering my eyes with my arm, but it was uncontrollable.

"Silly Jin-Ae, you were supposed to hold my hand!" I laughed with tears.

"Ah, I- "She startled. She stood up and bowed at me.

I held my hands out for help and pulled myself together. I still can't believe that she was silly.

"Hello, welcome to HoneyB. What can I get for you today?" a barista asked.

"What are your specials this season?" I asked. Honestly, I am just lazy to read the endless drinks menu that goes from frozen drinks to coffees to hot drinks. Plus, the strange names of cup sizes just give me a headache: QueenB and Wasps. Make up your mind!

"Well, we have Dasik served with any tea of your choice, Chapssaltteok and banana milk, and also burnt cheesecakes," She twirled her hair in between her decorated nails and bit her glossed lips.

(A/N: Dasik is a decorative Korean treat that is usually served as an accompaniment to tea. Chapssaltteok is a South Korean dessert made with glutinous rice and red bean paste.)

This girl sure does her job, but does she do well with boys?

I scanned her, looking from the top of her head to her legs. She is just too bitchy to admit that she's a slut.

I glared at her. "I'll just take a burnt cheesecake and the banana milk"

"And please, get yourself fired" I added as I placed the money on the counter. Her body froze still, not being able to move. She placed her finger over her brim.

Tsk, troublesome. I could tell that she knows what she's doing.

Whatever, I'm here for a date, not for a slut. I grinned and walked away.

At the table:

I saw her eyes glued onto the phone while pouting out her lips. Cute.

I stood behind her and gave a tap on her left shoulder. She turned her head around and fluttered her eyelash. I squatted, evening our height: my face was next to hers.

"Seojun, what do you think if we- mhn," I kissed her on the lips as her words could barely escape from her lips well. She bit my lips. Ouch!

We kept ongoing…

I hold her jaw, pursing my hands on her cheeks that were soft as cotton, (It's that soft). My lips swallowed in the top of her lips, then the bottom of her lips. I didn't know how lustful her lips were until then. My tongue swallowed in, grazing in. We chased in and out, lasting for about 48 seconds.

The blood from my lips salivated down my lips. Making its way curing in and out, following how far my lips were. For a girl like Jin-Ae, she is an incredible kisser.

We pulled out and took in a few breaths. Her face was not red at all. She looked back at her phone and tapped her fingers onto the screen.

I smiled and pushed away from her phone. Her focus was on me. Perfect.

"As you were saying?" I leaned back my shoulders on the chair, slumped down a bit, and held on my smile.

She scoffed and dropped her lips lower. "Geonbangjin! Kim Seojun, I was saying that we should get our food now." She tried to grin, but she wanted to keep it steady as well.

Her legs crossed and she placed her chin onto her palms. Staring deeply into my eyes, made me feel that she was the key to my heart. I leaned forward.

She held out her arms around my head and quickly flashed her phone at me.

"Not bad for the 'Bad Boy'," she mocked as she checked the picture. I tried to take it away from her, but she held it above her.

"Fine, you keep it," I said while positioning myself.

"Here's your food. Enjoy!" said the waitress as she placed down the cutlery. Then, the cake and our banana milk.

"Ha Joon will like this," she murmured as she swiped up her screen. She's talking to Ha Joon?

I held the fork and pointed it at her, confused. "Since when did you get close to him?" I asked as I stuffed my mouth with cake.

"Pfft- really?" she asked as she covered her mouth quickly before she could hold back her laughter.

She placed her hands on mine. "Ha Joon is probably the easiest person I could talk to. Besides, we're friends. You jealous Bad Boy?"

Easiest to talk to? You got to be kidding me!

"I am offended. I can't believe that you're saying that I'm jealous. You are mine and you think that friend of yours is worthy of me to be jealous of. You are insane," I giggled.

I stared back at her and saw a crumb on her cheek. It's time to make a move.

I moved my face closer to hers and held her by the back of her head. "Stay still," I whispered.

My tongue picked up the crumbs by the tip of it. Without realising, I was kissing her again.

She backed me off, almost choked on her banana milk. "Seojun, I was drinking," she choked.

I grabbed two sheets of tissue and gave it to her. "Here, use this. I'm sorry that I rushed you," I said as I rubbed my hands at the back of my neck.

Surprisingly, she packed her things and gave her hands to me. "I'm not that hungry. I want to take you somewhere. Let's get out of here," she cleared.

I smiled at her and followed her.

She dragged my hands, pulling me from one place to another. Every corner expressed the colour of her happiness. Lanterns that were hanged, danced together with the wind, creating a masterpiece of art before my eyes.

From streets to stairs, she didn't let go of my hands, unlike any other. She made me feel different, but that thought didn't flash in my head as I was mesmerised by the scenery.

Finally, we stopped at a park. The view was breath-taking; my mind was blocked by everything else besides the park. The cherry blossoms bloomed, embracing the colour pink and white.

I chuckled a bit.

Jin-Ae turned around and smiled at me while inhaling the fresh air around us. Couples were sitting on the bed of grass that played out a few acres.

"Why are we here?" I asked. My face was like a blank page: Clearly, precious memories that were never written because it's just something that can be torn away.

But that feeling of tearing away was almost gone when I was with her. It was like she pasted it back on with writings of her blue linen pen. I smiled.

We rested under a tree and lay our backs on them.

"Do you promise that you'll never leave me?" I asked. I can't believe those words slipped out of my mouth!

She walked towards me and bent a little closer. "Seojun, only if you won't," she said as the petals rained on us.

This girl is out of this world. Too bad she doesn't know my motive, just like the rest.

I had a cold stare at her.

Everyone is the same; They pretend to be this innocent sheep, but the reality is that the fox is hiding under that thick layer of wool. Take the barista from earlier: I could see the hickey bite marks underneath her collar, typical. I'm just going to play along until she finally admits it.

"Earth to Seojun! "she poked my face. She held my cheeks and pinched it with her thumbs.

"Yep, I'm here," I rubbed my cheeks and winced.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" She asked as she looks in a distance.

The wind blew in a calm pace, chilling the air. I tugged my jacket tighter.

"Go ahead," I said.

"Why did you choose me?" she asked in a calm tone. She looked at me and tears dripped down her cheek as she smiled.

What…why is she like that?

I hugged her tight in my arms and rest my chin on her head as she sobbed.

Maybe she's just pretending this as her motive to get closer. If she's not though, she'd better be prepared for me to leave her.
