Just as she thought that her day was going well, she heard shouting outside her office. Familiar voices reached her ears as Cheng Ning tried to stop her mother from going inside.
"Madam, you can't enter without Miss Moyu's permission. She's really busy right now!" Cheng Ning's begging tone could be heard along with Zhang Wuying shouting.
"Busy? She's always busy, not even picking up my calls! If she actually bothered to talk to her mother, do you think I would need to come here?" Zhang Wuying yelled at her before smacking Cheng Ning's hand that was holding her boss's cup of hot coffee.
Cheng Ning gasped as the hot drink spilled and hit the back of her hand before it fell on the floor. Her eyes stung with tears as she held her injured hand on her chest.
"What's happening here?" Tang Moyu opened her office door and saw her assistant crying next to her 'mother'. Her eyes narrowed dangerously on Zhang Wuying before regarding her assistant.
