"Well, if you already made up your mind about it, then sure, let's break up." Elaine Wu replied casually, which caught Ye Xiaozu off guard.
She accepted it just like that? Ye Xiaozu never expected that Elaine Wu would easily agree to it. He initially thought that she would refuse and use her own family as a bargaining chip to keep their engagement going. Or worse, force him to set their wedding date.
"What?" Elaine Wu raised a brow at him, noticing his blank stare.
"You… you're okay with it?" He questioned.
Elaine shrugged and cupped her chin lazily as she stared out the glass window. Was he expecting that she would throw a fit and be dramatic over such a thing? If he didn't want to marry her anymore, that's fine. Why would she make it hard for him anyway?
