"Really? Does my Mommy know we're arriving?" The boy asked again.
"You and your Uncle Yan will see her later. I'll have to stay here and wait for you." The reclusive author replied. He wasn't sure if his visit would be welcomed by the empress anyway. He didn't want to give her more reasons to avoid him.
Xiao Bao frowned but didn't say more. He couldn't understand why his Daddy Ji and Mommy were avoiding each other at all. Did they have a fight that neither he nor Little Star knew about?
