But those were simply her thoughts. They were her feelings and the negative emotions she harbored. She doubted she would be able to even do anything once she was finally face to face with the man.
But it hurt. It hurt more than she was willing to let on or feel and she knew it was impossible for her life to ever return to normal. It was impossible for her to move on and continue living like nothing had happened. Or maybe those were just her feelings at the moment. Maybe those feelings would change eventually.
How did people do it anyways? She wondered. People who lose their parents, siblings, or a family member they'd been close to. Or even a friend, or a pet that had been with them for a really long time. How? How do they move on from that kind of loss? How could she ever move on from this...
