The sun was blinding, shining directly on Scarlett's face and she groaned in her sleep, then turned over to bury her face into the pillows. But there was no escaping the sun.
Who opened the curtain anyways?! She thought, a frown on her head as she rolled over again, still groaning and then she heard a chuckle that made her groggily open her eyes.
Of course it was him!
"It's always so much fun watching you battle against the sun every morning. And it's even funnier seeing you always lose." Jean laughed heartily, two mugs of steaming coffee on a tray in his hands and then he bent over to place the tray on the bed beside Scarlett who was now sitting up, a murderous glare on her face.
"And you're the devil who enjoys seeing me in pain and always opens the curtains, aren't you?" She was still glaring at him as she reached for a cup of coffee and Jean laughed again.
