She walked along the hospital hallways, towards the back and continued down the stairs until she got outside and found the hospital garden.
A few patients in the infamous white and blue hospital gown lounged around on benches, some with family, some alone and some being supervised by nurses, but no one spared her a glance as she found a remote spot with a stone bench underneath one of the many trees scattered around. And for that, she was grateful.
The weather felt so nice that she felt out of place with all the emotions coursing through her body, heavily contrasting with the nice balmy spring weather. She felt like a rainy winter Saturday night with terrifying lightning and thunderstorms. And she simply wished that everything would stop hurting so much.
