Jean fixed his seat-belt and let out a long breath. "Yes, Lorenzo. He's the leader of a mafia gang known as 'The Black Spiders' and as for why he was after you, well it seems like he's got some bad blood with your dad and was hoping to use you to get to him." He explained and Scarlett's eyes went wide a tiny fraction as she turned to look him.
"Mafia gang leader?" She exclaimed, eyes filled with shocked surprise. She'd known mafia gangs were a thing and the way books romanticized and affiliated them with Italy also kinda made it inescapable information but actually being involved with one?
"Yeah," Jean nodded, reversing smoothly and pulling unto the road after checking to make sure that no cars where behind them. "And a notorious one too at that."
