Scarlett let out a long breath.
Of course she didn't want to keep revisiting old wounds when they were finally on the path to reconciliation and all the secrets that had torn and kept them apart were being aired already. But healing also meant going back to dig up old wounds and seeing what caused them and why. That was the only way they could both move forward with hopes of any future together. If there was one for them, that is.
