The restaurant was about ten minutes from the hospital, to Scarlett's surprise. She had expected the place to be farther downtown.
It was similar to Ai tre scalini, the restaurant she had been to last with Barbara and Kelly, except this place also had both indoor and settings. The outdoor design felt very cozy, despite the weather being cold at night. Unoccupied dual chairs were arranged around wooden tables and the smell of coffee was super strong in the air.
The indoor part however, had a super high-class, wealthy people only type of vibe and the trio were guided by a smiling waiter to a seat by the window that overlooked a part of the outdoor cafe and the pretty lights hung over the terraces, giving the view a soft magical glow.
Scarlett hoped the food tasted as good as the restaurant looked but she didn't really care at that moment, she was too hungry to think about complaining if the food wasn't good.
