Cory Wang, Jean's client and possible future business partner that was supposed to sign a contract with his company after attending the now canceled exhibition was on the phone.
Jean sighed. "I appreciate your concerns Ms. Wang. Everything's under control and the exhibition will still hold as planned, but at a later date and a possible different venue. I'm sorry for the inconveniences."
"No, I'm sorry for your loss and yes, I'll be looking forward to the new plans. Take care, Mr Haverton."
"Goodnight Ms. Wang. Thank you."
Jean ended the call and let out another exasperated sigh. A grunt of annoyance followed as he threw his phone aside and began unbuttoning his shirt.
He hadn't expected the day to go so awfully wrong. Everything had been planned and perfected. How and why could this have happened?
